Paula's Choice RESIST Optimal Results Hydrating Face Cleanser, 6.4 Fl Oz

If you are looking for a creamy hydrating face wash, this is it! It is great for sensitive skin and does not dry your skin out after washing. It cleanses well and does a good job removing make up. If you apply other products on your face after washing, it does not conflict or react with those in a negative way.

I'd been using Tatcha products for years but decided to look for more affordable options and eventually decided to try this. I'd seen the brand around a bunch but idk, the name Paula's Choice just made me think of someone's nana, like it was the millennial mary kay but ya know what, Nana knows best, okay! This is amazing. I have dryyyyyyy skin. Remember that spongebob episode where he gets stuck with the squirrel too long? that's my skin after a hot shower. But this stuff is amazing. I noticed shortly after using it that my skin wasn't dry, plumper and had a more even texture. It gave me better result than my $60 face wash (which I'd loved) and will now be replacing that splurge purchase. The things to consider: I don't know if this is truly a cleanser. It's a lotion that identifies as a cleanser. So is it lotion? IDK! but there is zero lather and although it has transformed my skin, it doesn't really make my skin feel "clean" when I use it by itself and it's not great at completely removing makeup. I've been using this as the first product in my double cleanse and am loving it, but if you want just one product for a face wash, maybe this isn't it? But it's definitely worth the purchase.

I’ve tried changing face washes multiple times due to the price of this one, but I keep coming back. I was able to use this throughout the course of my Accutane treatment, which is honestly a badge of honor for any product. Other hydrating cleansers I’ve tried always leave me with makeup and debris still on my face, they leave behind a residue or film of some kind, or they just never truly made me feel clean. This cleanser has the perfect balance of giving you a nice clean feeling without leaving your skin parched. I use jojoba oil as a makeup remover, and this as my double cleanse afterward, and this removes all of the oil residue but does not strip my skin of any of its moisture. I don’t know how Paula does it.

It was an alright cleanser, it kept my skin clean but didn’t do anything above average. I never broke out and it doesn’t have any strong scents which is always nice. It does a pretty good job at getting makeup off, but I don’t see how it’s hydrating. My skin gets dry as soon as I wipe off the water so I never noticed anything, but it never dried my skin out more than it already was. Make sure to put on moisturizer right away, or some kind of toner, cause my face feels firm (not sure if it’s just me). It’s overall a good amount for what what it costs, but I won’t be reordering it.

I buy this all the time for my Rosacia. It is gentle and calms the redness and burning I have tried everything. This is the only facial cleanser that helps

The Paula’s choice hydrating face wash was absolutely amazing ! A nice buttery lotion that melts into your face . The lather is incredible and your skin feels very moisturized after. There is no scent which works for my skin (sensitive ) . And the value is not bad for the amount and overall quality of the product … if we are being honest that’s for all Paula choice because they understand the assignment !

I’m older so my aging skin needs a different product than someone in their 30s or 40s. This cleans my face without drying it. I love the creamy consistency & no fragrance. But I have two complaints…. It doesn’t remove eyeliner or waterproof mascara (luckily I’m retired and I don’t wear much makeup these days) and It’s rather expensive compared to other similar products. Overall I’m happy but would be happier if it removed my mascara and eyeliner.

My handsome husband is in his 60s. He's a typical guy - never wears sunscreen and would wash his face with bar soap. His sometimes sensitive skin was usually red, he would have breakouts occasionally, and he had hyperpigmentation on the sides of his face. It was starting to bother him. I bought him the Paula's Choice Cleaner, the BHA exfoliant, and a Cerave face moisturizer with a SPF. He has been washing his face morning and night with the cleanser, using the BHA at night, and the moisturizer in the morning. He's been doing this for a few months and his skin looks amazing! The redness is gone, his pores are smaller, and he no longer breaks out. The hyperpigmentation is much improved, too. What's especially great is that the products don't bother him at all, and the routine is simple for him to do. He loves the way his skin looks. The only bad thing is now he is prettier than me - lol! Seriously, this is great stuff for the man in your life.

Only used for about 2 weeks now but can see a difference in skin already. Like the textue, not greasy at all and leaves skin soft and replenished. I use it in combination with Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant and pores appear much smaller, skin is much smoother. I am very happy that I found those two products as seem to be transforming my skin. Love it

This has become my ride-or-die face wash and makeup remover. It’s gentle but also incredibly effective at cleansing. I use a soft Clarisonic brush head to wash my face & have noticed that this is the only facewash that really gets the makeup off my skin (I can see clearly in the white bristles), and then ALSO cleans the brush bristles when I do a second rise to wash the brush head. Other cleansers leave a level of makeup on the white bristles, so that tells me it’s really getting the dirt & oils off my face — and it does so while leaving my skin gently moisturized. I’ve tried face soaps from lots of brands, including ultra luxury brands and KBeauty, but this is the reigning champion.

Great for those with ecezma. Very moisturising.

Super nettoyant Paula choice semblable à un lait , texture crème, ne mousse pas, enveloppant et efficace. La peau est douce, hydratée prête à recevoir les soins. Léger parfum qui s’estompe très vite heureusement car je n’en suis pas fan . Voilà la seule remarque , le seul reproche si on peut dire que je n’apprécie pas.
