Fits Breedlove perfectly
Needed to replace the gig bag for my Breedlove Atlas acoustic Bass. This fits perfectly and offers so much more protection than a regular gig bag. Bought it with Amazon points so it didn't really cost me anything but my wife's Amazon habit.

Excellent Gig Bag
I play a Breedlove Atlas acoustic bass guitar. I have had a hard time finding a gig bag or soft case to fit this instrument. The hardshell case that it came with is great for storage and protection but it gets HEAVY to lug around festivals or downtown streets to gigs. I did some research and figured I would give this soft shell case a try. The foam in this case is pretty rigid. It almost feels like it has a plastic shell under the canvas outer covering. Inside, it is lined with a soft flock, much like my hardshell case is. The inside has a small storage compartment, which is just big enough to fit spare batteries, a polishing cloth, and a cord without much room to spare. One could tuck some odds and ends in the space under the neck if so desired, I suppose. The cutout for the instrument leaves a few spaces around my Breedlove, but ultimately keeps the instrument snug and tight (no movement inside the case with cover closed and zipped). Honestly, I would have liked bigger zip pockets on the outside, as this bag has the real estate to support them. However, the outside pockets are big enough for my needs. The larger pocket is just right to fit a three ring binder full of music and lead sheets. The smaller webbed pocket has a zipper on each side, not entirely sure why for, but for now it is holding a spare box of strings with room to spare. The carry handle is placed in the same spot as my hardshell case handle and seems sturdy enough. What I love about this case is the backpack style straps on the bottom. This will make all the difference in the world when carrying my bass when parking is not so choice. The hardware on these straps consists of beefy plastic clips that seem like they should withstand normal daily use. The straps are also fully adjustable for length. Keep in mind when carrying this case on your back, the neck is going to stick WAY up over your head. If you're a tall guy like me, you're going to need to watch doorways, low ceilings, and ceiling fans. All in all, I really like this case and would recommend it to anyone looking for full portable protection for their acoustic bass guitar.

GL-AC-Bass fits a Guild B-240-EF nicely
One of the reviewers obviously doesn't know what a poly foam case is. I love them. All my guitars (classical, flamenco, steel string and bass guitars) are in poly foam cases. Some of my classical and Flamencos.... you can't even tell there is a guitar inside they are so light and yes, protective. Acoustic bass poly foam cases are the most difficult cases to find. I have numerous different manufacturers of cases that I use. My favorite cases are Travelite but they don't make an Acoustic bass case. I have to maintain all my guitars for humidity living in Colorado so they are lighter and easier to move around than a hard case. Plus if you are going to a gig, it's the same reason. I don't use gig bags. They don't protect the guitars.

Great Protection for Traveling
Love it. Fits my bass perfectly, has a nice pocket for a folder for sheet music. That pocket could be bigger for a binder but that just being picky.

Great bag!
A great bag, not too heavy but still enough protection for the bass. Nice string straps for back pack style or regular carrying.

A Bit expensive but, itโs worth it!
Delivered early morning. Open the box, put my acoustic bass to verify fitness, verdict- perfect fit. I could have given it a 5 stars but I need to wait a few months to see itโs durability and protection to my instrument. To the prospective buyers looking to protect their investment, you need to remember that this is still considered a soft case even though it is thickly padded. So if planning to check this in the airport just be aware of your expectations. One last thing, to ensure perfect fit, make sure to measure the length of your guitar, the height and length of the body, the upper, middle and lower bout. Once youโve done, then your ready to purchase your guitar case.

Love this case
I really like ths new Gator acoustic bass case I just bought. It seems to be very well made with a lot of padding for protection. Amazon definitely had the lowest price of anyone. Plus they offered free shipping and I got it really quick. The only down side is the Gator price. I could buy a hardshell cass for what these cases cost. I think they need to offer a cost reduction to get more of these in the field and then let demand dictate the price. Overall I am very happy with this case. It protects my valuable instruments and looks good too. I highly recommend this case. I am a professional touring and recording musician so I will definitely put it to the test...especially when flying place to place. Some airlines are murder on cases and instruments too.

Great quality case as you would expect from Gator but I returned it as it was far too big for my Crafter acoustic bass guitar. I believe this case would only suit a jumbo sized acoustic guitar.

Brilliant case for my custom Brook Bass
Brilliant case for my custom Brook Bass. My guitar has a Gibson 2J00 body and a 34โ scale. Fits this case beautifully! Really light as well, and the straps are useful (so long as you donโt forget how tall your instrument is when fitting through doors!!)

Good case
Lightweight, strong and sturdy. Good compartments, good case! You know your acoustic bass is safe in here! Cons: The clips for the 2 straps are TERRIBLE & the straps themselves!
