Guardsman Reusable Water Mark Remover Cloth | Wood Cleaner for White Rings & Haze Caused By Moisture and Heat, 1 Count

Very satisfying results that come with very patiently using this product. It removed two serious marks on a rock maple dining room table. One large mark came from someone putting a hot pan on the bare wood. That error left a large round white mark about 8 inches in diameter. The second mark was really two substantial water marks, each about the size of 1/4 of an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper. Technique: 1) Put on a good television show or some pleasant music or have a good conversation partner. You are going to be involved for a while. I took me about 45 minutes. 2) Put on some rubber gloves. I used the disposable blue neoprene rubber gloves that have become very common. 3) Take the treated cloth out of the sealed bag and select a small part of it and start rubbing the stain with that part. Think in terms of a part of the cloth about the size what can be pressed down with the index and middle finger and thumb while holding the cloth with those fingers and the thumb. 4) I started by using a tight circular pattern about 2 inches in diameter. I pressed firmly but not hard. Pressing firmly means about the same force as used to press down on a piece of paper to make a sharp crease. After about 2 minutes I could see improvement. The stain was still very visible, but starting to diminish. 5) Keep at it by moving to other areas. Keep moving the cloth 6) After while it seemed that improvement had stopped while using the tight circular motion so I started to go side to side and up and down and improvement accelerated. I then went back to cirular motion. 7) Alternate circular motion with side to side and up and down motions. Reversing the circular motion direction from clockwise to counterclockwise also helped. I used the same small are of the cloth all the time, 8) Keep at it until the stain is almost completely gone. I then went to exclusively side to side and up and down with only occasional returns to the tight circular motion. Using the product was very satisfying because improvement started within a couple of minutes and the stains progressively disappeared so visible progress occurred as effort was exerted. This product worked extremly will for me. HIghly recommended if you are able to be patient. If you are expecting magical results in a hurry without pressing down on the cloth then this product's wonderful capabilities will elude you.

This really works! It got rid of cloudy water rings that had been on my coffee table for a long time. I had about given up on them until I tried this. I did have to rub hard, but not for very long. It wasn’t difficult at all. It also left a nice shine. If there’s a downside, and it’s a teeny one, it’s that it smells bad. But it’s only when you’re using it and the smell doesn’t linger. It’s worth it.

I was impressed at how this actually did take out a watermark stain for a wood dining table. It basically takes off the layer of wax that is on the table and "erases" the stain. At first it looks as if it is making the water mark larger and spread out, but it is basically blending it into the table. However, I tried to use it for a coffee table that had very deep and old water stains and did not work. So for wood that may be composite, older deep stains, or not high quality wood I don't recommend it as it might work as well.

Man, whoever said this thing didn't work for them, must just be lazy. It does the job quite well but you have to apply pressure like you are trying to get rid of something. So, please stop misleading people lol. Great product.

When I first opened the package, I was underwhelmed. The little cloth appeared to be dried out and did not seem like it would be able to do anything. But, I gave it a shot. With a little light pressure and going back and forth along the grain for a minute or so, the water mark from the glass left on my bedside table almost completely disappeared. A second application a few minutes later and the mark was gone. Furniture polish, wood cleaner, and wood oil had done nothing. I moved the cloth to some other spots around... the mark on the headboard where my daughter's detangling spray had left a mark... a mark on my dresser that would not go away after a vanity tray had been there for years (you could see the outline of where it used to be)... the little cloth took care of all of it. (It took two applications to get rid of the marks completely, but they are gone.) Give it a chance.

Didn’t work for me as I expected. Didn’t remove the white marks as promised. Maybe the marks were to deep .., I don’t know

Tired on three different white stains on three different surfaces. Unfortunately it did not make any difference.

Removed water marks indeed! Do read the instructions. Do not use on matte finished wood since it leaves a shiny layer. In my case it was my last resort so i gave it a try. The water mark was small so the shiny surface is barely noticeable. The product served its purpose and saves time and hazards of trying home remedies.

I tried this product on both light and heavy heat marks....it didnt help at all! not even slightly! I am not happy.... The marks that we have are all few months old...the product didnt specify anything about effectiveness on these kind of marks..

Works as described.

The smell is horrible, doesn’t remove the mark completely and then there are more instructions mentioned on the cover than what’s online, you can’t use it on matt wood, it will leave shinning spot!
