I love all products from Integrative Therapeutics but this one is my favorite. It tastes like German chocolate and works really well for heartburn with no side effects. Overall, this company always has quality products.

I was prescribed DGL Licorice years ago and it did wonders. I stopped taking it at some point and recently became very ill with gut issues again, so have started using it again and it's wonderful as always! I don't take it every day now, as my stomach is finally healthy as it should be but if I have discomfort at any level, after a meal, I will take a few and it's the discomfort is gone in short order. It's a very good and healthy way to deal with stomach issues.. I highly recommend Integrative Therapeutics DGL! I'll will continue purchasing it in the future! Thank You!

The supplement works well as direccted.

I'd used Rhizinate in the past. It didn't taste great, but really helped with stomach upset. I didn't mind the strong flavor. Thought that's what I'd ordered this time... but this product isn't nearly as strong, and has sugar in it. I'm somewhat sugar intolerant, so that didn't please me. Overall, good product, but I'd have preferred it not have sugar in its composition. Amazon sent me a non-sugar replacement, for which I was grateful.

Editing my old review. We just got a new bottle with instructions that say “chew 3 tablets after food in the morning and after food in the evening” ?? Previous instructions have always been to “chew 2 tabs 20 mins. before meals.” No explanation for the change. WHAT GIVES, Integrative Therapeutics? Old review: We’ve tried different brands of this stuff. This is hubby’s fave.

I've suffered from stomach pain & nausea for over 4 years now. After numerous test it's been determined I have a small hyaital (sp) hernia. The Dr. prescribed a liquid to take before eating & the side affects were the same as my symptoms! Stomach pain & nausea! It made me WORSE! Five days & three pounds later I stopped taking it! Then my sister told me about Rhizinate...Total difference...I've only been using it for about a month but when I take this on a consistent basis, I notice a big difference in my stomach pain & nausea. It enables me to be able to enjoy a meal again. I still have pain & nausea in but not as bad. Taking it 20 minutes beforehand makes a difference too but sometimes I forget & just chew them anyway. I'm hoping if I take it long enough, it will actually heal, like it claims. The Rx from the Dr. only protects & soothes (except it didn't). I've even cleared them thru my Dr. so I'm hoping in six months I can report a difference

An alternative-that works- for Tums

I have been taking Prilosec 20mg daily for about 2 years and 40mg for about a year before that. Even on 20mg had breakthrough reflux. Wanting to wean off the PPI without the horrific rebound acid and also planning to try to get pregnant soon I started taking this; 2 tabs 3 times a day. The first day I couldn’t believe it; I had no acid reflux at all. Just make sure you follow instructions and take it 20 min before you eat bc I did have some reflux when I took it right when I ate.

Happy with this product. Trustworthy DGL. It delivered fast even though it was shipped from overseas.
