I’m often asked to bring plastic cups to picnics or kid events. I feel better bringing these cups made with plants since they are compostable. They are good size cups (as big as the red solo cups) so they work great for adults, teens and kids. Very sturdy cups for many events

I got these for my Halloween party (2021) and they were great! They arrived in perfect condition and were a total hit. People used them and had no issues. I am thrilled to find a sustainable cup option! No more plastic cups. The party was inside, so they were not sitting in the sun or anything but they seemed to do well with cold liquids inside.

I was very hesitant to buy these cups after seeing the pictures of them melting, but then other people reviewed them as doing okay outdoors. I decided to give them a test run since I was having a 100% tableware/food compostable graduation party. I filled a cup with ice water and set it out in direct sunlight from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The high temperature was about 87 degrees and humidity topped out at about 68%. There were no signs of melting so it was a go for the party! They were as sturdy and reliable as a solo cup. I'm sure there is a point where they aren't going to hold up, but hopefully this will help people better determine what these cups can tolerate. Yes, they are more money, but I am going to try and do my part until THIS is a choice on every shelf in the stores instead of buying them online! I won't buy another solo cup again! ♻️🌎🌍🌏💙

Little pricey but worth it to do something responsible. Decent sized plastic cups. I planned to use them for one event but changed my mind and kept them for cookouts and such. They will melt, but not like most people are saying. I left one in my car all day while I went to work (in North Carolina in the summer) just to see how bad it would be. It was 100° in my car at least and just the rim was a little melted. Never once have the melted at a cookout or after being outside.

I was pleased to find a plastic substitute that didn't break the bank and that are sturdy and hold up to multiple uses. I wash mune and used them for at least three weeks. The only issue I've had is setting them to close to my burner when cooking, which (understandably) melted one. LOL! But compared to other brands I found these to be hold up very well.

I'd like to start by saying that I never thought I would be writing a review for disposable cups, but I've heard some apprehension on plastic-less alternatives (being weaker or less effective than plastic), so I felt compelled to share my excellent experience. I'm trying to purchase less single-use plastic, so when I did have to buy cups for an event, I was happy to find these cups as an alternative! This is my first purchase from this company, so I didn't know what I would get. Would these be better in theory than in use, such as paper straws that break apart before you finish your beverage? Would the cup fall apart just like the plastic-less straws? NOPE! These are just as sturdy as traditional plastic cups, and the cups look great! They can be used just as you would use a plastic disposable cup--refill, rinse, repeat, etc., and I will totally be rebuying and recommending this product!
