This beautiful fountain is perfect for any desk, side table or nightstand. The sound is very calming and is great for blocking out any pesky ambient noise, but still subtle enough to hear conversations or the TV. It was very easy to remove from the packaging and assemble, and the instructions were clear and legible. Just be sure to set the pump to the lowest setting at first like the instructions say because it splashes water the first time plugging it in. I added a plastic cover to the table it’s sitting on to accommodate for the splashes and occasional leaks. With the high quality material I think it’ll last for years, if not forever with the proper care. The price is a bit high but I think it’s worth it because I’ve never seen any other indoor-safe fountains built this well, and on this scale.

I bought this product used (almost new) and when I first set it up it had a slight leak. I considered sending it back but I had been so excited to get it and I probably wouldn't have purchased it if I hadn't found it at a discounted price. It looks beautiful, just like real rocks. I love trickling sound. I love the lights. I really didn't want to give it up but it was getting water all over my desk and it was hard to tell where it was even coming from too. Now in the instructions, it mentions that you should occasionally use a clear protective sealer to keep the color from fading. I went ahead and did that and covered the entire outside with a couple coats of protective acrylic and since doing that I haven't had any more leaking so I am so happy I did that and didn't ship it back because I love everything about it. I wish I had more. My cat loves it too. She drinks out of this more than she does the fountain I bought specifically for her to drink out of

Not worth the price. The color you see on Amazon is not the color of the item you receive. In my picture, you can see that the item is BLACK and not the greenish color on the box it arrived in. The water in the fountain does not flow smoothly like the video Alpine shows. Notice that Alpine lets you hear the water flowing in the fountain but music covers up everything else. After putting rocks to try to get the waterfall sound, the motor/pump was louder than the water. The fountain also leaks water. Luckily, I put a container under the fountain prior to plugging it in for the first time. You have to unplug to turn off the fountain (no turn on/off switch). I wanted to return the fountain, but I am a senior citizen. It was too heavy for me to lift/empty the water from the back of the fountain, box it up, and take it 30 miles to mail it back to Amazon. There was no value for the money. I wasted my time and money. I now have a dark, heavy, oversized doorstop.

I would give it 5 stars except that I have had it less than a month and hace turned it iff too cool off and dry out a bit several times. Which I have not had to do with my other 3 indoor fountains. It has already started to get slime on the top and the way this one is designed you can't get at it with a old toothbrush from the top just the small opening where the water comes out. I usually have 2 on and 2 off as home bound and they help with insomnia. I will have to shut this one off before the month is out unless my cleaner steps up to the plate and fast. It has a beautiful sound that can be made slowly to go faster rather than just fast or slow. I get all the in-between. If it runs on high for a couple of days it starts to make noise and the pump gets warm. I slowed it down a fuzz and it's been great since except for the slime building up which I plan on cleaning out with a child's electric toothbrush which seems to be the only thing little enough to get in there. Looks like it will be sooner than later. My others are not ready to go yet. I make repairs but make sure they are good and dry beforehand. Paint seems to be the biggest thing that always comes off. Hobby Lobby here I come then more drying. Over all I very much enjoy the sounds it makes, just wasn't planning on such early cleaning.

After looking at many types, sizes and prices, this one seemed the most aesthetically pleasing to look at as far as having a natural rock appearance. I wanted a taller rather than shorter and wide one. This has a nice five inch falls drop off and depending on your flow selection, will dribble down the rocks or make a nice glassy full sheet away from the back wall. Has a great relaxing sound to it and so far on the high flow setting, hasn't splashed around the outside. I plugged one side of the bottom reservoir which makes that basin a higher level which helps prevent splashing, also giving it a nice curling affect at the outer edge. The top also has a stream from the left side so you have to get the waterfall at just the right level for a good flow from that side. I had a couple issues but customer service was a great help in the end. All in all this is one of the best I can find for its looks and at decent price range, I bought used/good condition and the next day the price of new dropped in half, so I was pretty angry about that. I added a small fog/mist device inside the back basin and it looks really cool with the mist flowing from the bottom falls reservoir. I'm happy with the purchase, but others may vary in there tastes and requirments.

The very first thing I noticed is there was one small piece (see pic) that appeared to be broken(?) on the inside. It is clearly a piece from the inside of the fountain, but after searching for any possible areas that may leak I could not visibly find any. The fountain arrived pre-assembled, with easy enough instructions to where all I had to do was adjust the pump level, submerge it in water and plug in for power. I first tested it on a safe, flat surface, away from anything I didn't want to risk exposing water to. Fortunately, first attempt and the fountain appeared to work fine without any leaks. After that, it's really a balancing act as the sound can range anywhere from an annoying trickle to a steady stream-like flow. Mind you, whatever the case, this is a relatively loud fountain; though nothing that can't be adjusted by positioning it further away. Switching between levels one and two on the pump, there was an inconsistent flow of water from the top to bottom of the longest center channel (starts out flowing nicely, but trickles down at the bottom as there isn't enough pressure). With levels three and four on the pump, water flows consistently down the entire channel and and sounds much more pleasant. But, this also resulted in greater splashback. To circumvent this, I found a set of shell-like beads on an old necklace, which I substituted in place of the river rocks so many others seem to use and recommend for tabletop fountains (should work just as well). I spent a good while stacking the shell beads until I was satisfied, and found the most pleasant sound to be with the pump set to level four, seated right besides me on my desk. As it is, there is very little splashback and although I can hear the sound of the pump it isn't enough to distract my attention away from the very Zen stream-like sound. I tried to capture the sound as best as possible (see video), and all in all I would definitely recommend this product as it is very aesthetically pleasing and delivers on its intended purpose. I'm hoping this product holds up well over time, but only time will tell. Kudos to all who have shared their positive experience with service/repair requests. It's one of the main reasons I went with this one over countless others on Amazon. 3 star rating--though really a 3.5 star, if I could give one--for 1) broken piece directly out of the box, 2) backplate doesn't aesthetically line up flush with the fountain, 3) exclusion of any rocks of any kind, which I'm sure many would agree is all but necessary, and 4) placement of pump makes it difficult to reach and adjust levels.

It's nice fountain, not big and not to small and a nice price. Everything works fine but couple holes in the body of it and didn't care for it being in 2 pieces, a base for water and head for water running out. Needless to say I'm just keeping it, I filled it with caulking and you won't see it anyways, it's in a rock garden so probably get broke somewhere. But everything together it's fine. I added a couple stars and finished what I wanted to do with this fountain, you'd never know it had a hole in it. Good price tho.

I bought this item because I love the sound of moving water. When I received it the box was undamaged and it was packaged great. When I got the model out it was Heavy like actual stone but the inside was sprayed with some type of water resistant foam. That chipped off and was rattling around inside the waterfall. Once I cleaned out all the excess chips inside I filled it with water and It worked great. The AC power adapter plug that came with it is another story, the plug has only been in the wall for 15 minutes and the plug is RED HOT 🔥 like if it had anything flameable next to it the plug would ignite. It draws MORE than 12volts of electricity to run the pump and lights. I emailed Amazon they where no help they wanted me to return it, I emailed the company that made it and have not heard back. The model is beautiful just don't like that the AC power adapter is getting very hot. I'm scared to leave it plugged in for over an hour. UPDATE: 03/11/22 The company emailed me and called me personally to tell me how sorry they where that the AC outlet was getting hot and they sent a replacement over right away. The new plug they sent is attached to a pump that is able to be adjusted water flow and the lights attached to it. The falls are running again. Here's a quick note to those complaining about the noise of the pump. Get a piece of water resistant foam and sit it under the pump itself under water, the pump rattles against the material inside causing a sound. With the pump elevated on a soft surface it has nothing to rattle. I added water so it would fill ABOVE the pump and it works Soo nicely no humming sound.

Really love this waterfall. Have not use it it yet as Im moving. But did plug in and try it, a little on the loud side, however you can put river rock from the dollar store in each one of the coves to soften the sound of the water fall

I really like the look of this fountain and it's the perfect size for my space, however, it leaked like a sieve !Luckily rather return it, my hubby siliconed the bottom where it was leaking so badly. Got it all reset and now we feel the power adaptor is running far to hot to be safe! What to do? Send it back? It looks so lovely and sound wonderful in my house. I wonder if a more powerful adaptor would suffice?
