BLACK+DECKER Infrared Radiant Quartz Tower Heater, BHTI06, Black

I got this for a very reasonable price through one of Amazon’s sales. We are having so much trouble with our furnace this winter that I needed something to help heat the house. This gives off a lot of heat and it can be adjusted to how warm you want it. On low it kicks when it starts to get chilly in here. On medium it stays on constantly with warm heat coming through. High heat is very hot so I don’t use that setting very much. At first when you turn it on it’s a little loud but quiets down after a few mins and you can still hear it but it’s not crazy loud or anything! So far it’s working great!

This heater is perfect in my 33 ft. 5th wheel. Kitchen an living room stays warm love the control temp. Shut off . Nice to come home an 73 degrees at all time.

Will heat a good size room. The fan motor is a little noisy so it should not be used in a room where that my be a problem or where tempure variations are a problem

I bought two of these and just started to use them. The cords are very temperamental: the machine will turn off and will not turn back on if you try to relocate it; it also may not turn on when the ambient temperature is cold; one machine is worse (not working most of the time) then the other. I am so frustrated that the money is wasted. I own one (different company) and has worked very well since last year. The low quality of these two heater is very disappointing. Unfortunately I passed the “free” return timeframe, going to contact Amazon customer service to see if there are any option.

Over the past 3 years- I bought a similar infared heater at Odd Lots @$45- price was right- but it was always a little " tinny" in manufacturing- it would last 18 mos. NY Winters are big or bust- However- the cool Fall days hit 72 & drop to 62 or even 55..so picked B& D brand- because they are reliable & paid the full price & Highly recommend It. Did not disappoint We've been running it on Lowwith thermostat set at med- high & It does not disappoint!! Fired up right away and the vertical bars produce MORE heat than any previous heaters. Ground floor apts tend to be colder & this baby melts the chilly nights & makes them toasty warm. Took a 3 yr warranty. Delivery was right on time and deelivered in shipping carton..showed made in China. I remember when B&D was american mmade- got it fast before the shipping strike ended. So if you are thinking about it- buy it- be happy and warm. I could not find this heater in any of the big name stores- so grab it while you can.

Heater is great! 10/10 would buy again. It was used -- or at least purchased and returned -- and that was obvious from the packaging and the way the box was beaten up and re-taped. But the heater works great! I'm a little confused how Amazon delivered this "to the mailroom," as was noted -- since it was delivered to a house. And there is no mailroom. But it's not the first time Amazon's delivery "quirks" have confused me.

It makes too much noise,but it keeps me warm. Omg, after 6 months, it started going off not working and now it gets too hot .my extension cord is melted and the cord gets so hot I unplug it,cause I didn't want a electric al fire. I would never but again. Dangerous item

Me gusta mucho que mantiene la temperatura que tu le indiques. En mi caso en particular una de las 2 lamparas de cuarzo no prendía, pero al agitarlo ya hizo contacto y funcionó.

This heater works well in our living room fortunately we have 20ft of heater on the wall but for extra heat as the temp gets to -20 we sometimes need more heat this warms up the living room dining room and kitchen nicely of course I'll buy this exact one if anything happens to my current heater..

Works great in the garage. Just needed simple, quick heat for short stays. Slight noise but at least you can hear it working and blowing heat. Does the job.

BLACK AND DECKER INFRARED QUARTZ TOWER HEATER I love the way it came packaged very securely. I believe this is a refurbished one second use product that I purchased so far so great. However It’s only got two level levels of heat. Low and high. For the money it is great value and easy to use! The only negatives I can think of is that a) there is no remote to shut it off and b) it is a lot noisier than I thought it would be because when I was doing the research to get a reasonably priced infrared heater, it said that these are much quieter than regular heaters or even ceramic heaters, but it is giving off quite a bit of noise, so not sure if my neighbors will like it.🫠
