Incredible Tent for Glamping (Perfect for Texas Summers!)
Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I always read them before buying on Amazon. It is only fair to share my honest experience with fellow Amazon shoppers and support Outsunny for making an amazing product. We purchased this 10-person yurt tent for a ladies' glamping night over the 4th of July weekend. We set it up in our backyard, and it easily accommodated 5 full-sized cots with plenty of room to spare. You could easily fit 7 cots comfortably. During our weekend, we actually experienced a severe rainstorm with heavy wind and rain. The Outsunny held up just fine, keeping us completely dry and secure through it all. Because we are in East Texas, air conditioning is an absolute necessity. We used a portable AC unit (also purchased on Amazon), and it kept the space incredibly comfortable. The tent absolutely did not disappoint, held the cool air well, and proved to be completely weatherproof. Combined with our other Amazon glamping finds, it made for an incredible experience. I highly recommend this product! Thank you, Outsunny!

Great glamping deal!!!
The tent/yurt arrived much sooner than expected and was lightweight. We put it up quickly and easily for a “glamping” party and it was a huge hit with our teenage girl attendees. It is pretty durable and in the days/nights we had it up there were two extreme storms with crazy wind gusts and rain. It stayed in place with only one stake pulling out and stayed dry! It did get a small puncture wound from a tree branch but I think that was our fault for putting it too close to a tree. This yurt is huge and would easily fit 8-10 girls. We put down rugs and a few mattresses. The other yurts of this size that I looked at were at least twice as much. Don’t hesitate to get this one if you are looking for a fun staycation destination!

Better than expected - but read first
For its size this thing comes in a nice handy travel bag that’s about 3 foot long and maybe 10 x 10”. It basically comes with two poles, the tent, and all the ropes and tent stakes. I put this up by myself in about 40 minutes or so I’d think two people could do it more quickly. After using this for a birthday party, it with stood 40 mile hour winds and a torrential downpour. Was it completely waterproof? No, but was far better than I expected. It was quite stable and despite the wind, I noticed no wear and tear. Pros: -Well made, and put together perfectly -If you Want to run electricity, there is a small Velcro hole next to the door. -The door and side vents Have button and loop pieces so you can roll them up and secure them. -The stakes and strings Are durable quality. -No overwhelming chemical smell out of the box - This thing held up in pretty strong winds really well Cons. 1. Not the most heavy duty Material, I would suggest a ground tarp so any rocks or sticks will not poke through. The zippers on the door I’d suggest are very lightweight. Should they fail I’d probably suggest some Velcro tabs Or adding snaps. 2. Whatever material this is made out of apparently does not stop UV rays. If used in the hot summer, Mid-day the black tarp bottom and metal pole become unbelievably hot despite not being in the sun. If this is your scenario, I’d certainly suggest putting this in the shade or not utilizing it until night time. I am unsure how a Scotchgard or tent, spray or seam seal would work on this. But it wouldn’t hurt 3. I’d suggest it is moisture resistant at best. This held out the rain pretty well, but again it only had torrential rainfall for about 15-20 minutes. There were only a few small spots. Some water blew in. See above for addition of any sort of water, repellent, spray or seal. The instructions are OK, but not great. If you’ve put together any tents before you can probably figure this one out, but basically ..: 1. lay it out flat 2. Stake the The edges of the black base first. 3. Put the large pole together, make sure the plastic caps are on the top and bottom, go through the door and find the center of the top and just raise it up and make sure the bottom goes into the reinforced square in the middle of the black bottom. This step is way easier with two people. 4. Starting next to the door, find the Black Canvas Loop,, Tie one end of The support ropes to the tent, then Tie the other end to a tent stake, Then Paul outward from the Center tent, pole, and hammer in your stake, angling outward. Make sure these are very taut. Repeat all the way around. PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE ONE LONG STRING ONE FOR THE DOOR. 5. When you get to the door, grab the triangular door pole and leave it fairly disconnected. The loops for the pole are in the inside of the door. Be careful as there are some external loops as well. Starting at the top run the first section through the top loop then put the two sections together, go through the second Loop, put the third section on, then find the footer hole in the bottom and stick it in there, Attach the top piece that has a single point on the top Through the hole then Work your way down the other side. 6. Attach the door rope and stake. We use stars for a glamping party, there is plenty of room, you could fit a whole herd of kids. But this fit 6 to 8 teenagers just fine. We strung a set of Christmas lights up the middle pole. We put a big rug, a bunch of cozy pillows and put some speakers and a fan. It was good to go. Overall I’d rate this a good purchase.

This tent was everything!
This tent, at this price, was everything! We purchased this to host a glamping slumber party for our 12 year old daughter and some of her friends! We were able to fit 3 queen size air mattresses in it, for 6 tweens, and there was still a ton of room for them to move around in; they could have had a dance party if they'd wanted to! We then left it up, and didnt end up taking it down for 2-3 months. We had zero issues! We did preemptively spray it with water proofing spray just to be safe after reading some of the reviews. The only time we had water in the tent was when we failed to close the windows which are close to ground level. The only big call out I'd make is that it can get HOT in there. There isn't a ton of airflow. That said, we bought a few little clip on fans and all worked out!

Perfect tent for us,
We have used this tent over 20 plus times and it’s still as nice as the day we got it, it is water proof and we have had over 40 mile an hour gusting winds at the lake camping and it holds us and we sleep well very little noise, in the winter when camping we use a small space heater and it does the job and yes the ac blows ice cold in the summer months it’s hot here in Texas and we camp year round, with a king air bed and a queen there is still room for twin. Ours is the 17’ base and it is 12’ center where the pole goes

Not waterproof and very thin material. Poor customer service.
I bought this tent for our family to go on a very over do vacation and sat it up. The first night we got soaked. The material is very thin and NOT waterproof. The next morning I contacted the seller and Amazon for a return. We were in the mountains so there was no way to ship it immediately back and that is literally all they kept saying. I am very disappointed in this tent. We packed up and went home because there was evening rain forecasted for the duration of the vacation and no way for us to stay dry at night.

It survived a huge storm and high winds, no water!
I am in love! I received the tent and set it up and then storms were forecasted without my awareness. I didn't have time to take it down, so I prayed. I am so thankful this tent passed with flying colors! Winds were predicted up to 40 mph, don't think we got quite that but the storm was terrible. Winds were lifting a massive patio umbrella out of its base when we looked put the window. Took the video at the start of the storm, it got much worse after dark. After the storm there was not a thing wrong with the tent. I am so grateful! I didn't want to put it to the test like that and am so glad there were no issues! Aside from that, it is huge inside! I love it. Will be decorating it and testing for glamping. Can't wait!

Gorgeous tent but has some setbacks
Listen, I really wanted to love this tent. Looks gorgeous but definitely has its setbacks. Needs more ventilation. The 4 window are at the bottom of the tent and don’t really allow good airflow. During the day in full sun it was hot inside the tent. I would have loved if the bottom of the tent fully unzipped from the top. Rain. It poured the last day of our camping trip, although the tent was fully sealed the inside of the tent had a lot of condensation which I turn felt like it had basically rained inside. A lot of our things were damp. It also made packing up this big ass tent not very fun. Mud was everywhere!! Had to take it home open it up again to dry both inside and outside after power washing the mud from the outside. Lastly there’s an grommet O ring at the entrance of the tent that completely came out when disassembling. It was the first time we used it and was disappointed that broke after one use. Luckily I had a grommet gun and was able to repair it. tent is perfect for 4 to 6 people, 10 is a bit of a stretch unless you want to feel packed like sardines. Ultimately I returned the tent. this tent style is more for “glamping” rather than real camping and because the airflow was non existent I didn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to. However you can’t beat the price…. These tents normally got for thousands so your call.
