Ironman Men's Classic 38 mm Digital Watch

Highly recommended. All functions work as described. Particularly useful to have day and month displayed. Lots of functions but each one can be disabled if required and then re-enabled. This is the smaller model for a smaller wrist. By far the best digital watch I have had.

With a momentary sub £15 price tag, my previous version of the same watch with yellow highlights can now be retired after a battery change means it fogs up when in the shower. This is a good watch, suitably sized to allow all sport to be played with it on, mainly field hockey for me. Watch has three alarms, an occasion reminder alarm, 30 lap, Over 50 hour stop watch; and upto 24hour coutdown timer as well as duel time zones that are switchable on a single button press. With a 100m water resistance will happily cope with shallow level (<20m) scuba diving too. All in all bargin.

Ordered a 'very good condition' second hand one and it had some scratches on the screen and wristband. Thankfully I was able to use a Dremel and mostly polish out the scratch on the screen so I'm OK with it now. It was £10 cheaper than new, so a bit of hassle fixing it is fair enough I guess. They are nice watches. The plastics do end up falling to bits after a few years, but that's probably the same for most plastic watches.

I bought this watch to help with my training for a 100k run this May. I use it to time 720m laps in my local park...obviously split function is essential for this unless you have supreme mental arithmetic skills and are able to employ them during a hard workout session! It also keeps track of the lap number....which, after 10 -15 laps, also becomes a challenge as one becomes a bit dizzy and confused... Split function is neat, with both previous lap and current chrono shown on the screen. It has a 30 lap memory....and you can whizz through your times following training with the recall function. The start/split button is sturdy and overall the watch seems to be reasonably robust. Countdown timer, alarms, etc are all useful functions too, although I only wear this watch for training. The indiglo backlight is brilliant ....screen is clearly visible when running at night. It is a bit smaller than I had anticipated. It is also extremely light. I am used to wearing a breitling superocean....the timex is like a feather in comparison. It is very comfortable and you forget you are wearing it... The strap is very ergonomic and has been designed to fit a wrist....which, incredibly, many other sports watch manufacturers seem to have missed the point with. I paid £20....good value. This watch is sold of £50-70 elsewhere....not sure about this.... Obviously not a GPS watch, which most wannabe runners are going for at present. Many of the cheaper models are like wearing a small fridge on your hand and do not perform even the most basic functions in an acceptable manner.....with stupidly poor battery life......therefore, there is still a time and a place for a 'classic' reliable chrono, especially with split time function. Finally, not the most beautiful piece of kit. I wouldn't wear this watch every day....but that is just my opinion.

This is the fourth Timex Ironman watch that I've had in the last 20 years or more. I've worn all of them all day and every day for whatever I am doing eg. gardening, diy/decorating/construction, swimming, exercise, socialising etc etc., I just give it a wash if it gets dirty/sweaty. They have all kept perfect time and all the functions have worked perfectly all the time. I've only bought a new one as the battery had finally run out on it's predecessor.

I would say its mid-size & not too large on my skinny boney wrists. It looks cool & has the usual handy things you need from a watch. It has three alarms which have pleasant & surprising individual beeping tones. I would certainly buy again.

This is a digital chronograph in the slightly older style (ie pre Apple type watches) but it’s easy to read, waterproof, totally reliable, has timer and alarms as well as 2 different time zones and keeps you on track with the day of the week! Excellent value for money.

Excelent product. 100m water resistance not yet cheked. very good product and delievery by amazon is amazing.

Hallo, anbei mal meine Rezension. Jede Menge Fotos hab ich mal hochgeladen. Ich musste das Video leider kürzen. Das komplette findet man auf YouTube in meinem Kanal "DerTestMichel". Ich schreib jetzt nicht viel zu der Uhr da man das meiste in meinem Video sieht. Ich hatte als Vergleich noch eine Casio Collection Herren-Armbanduhr Digital Quarz W-96H-1AVES für 27 Euro gehabt da ich mich entscheiden konnte welche ich von beiden nehme. Ich brauchte nur eine Uhr für die Arbeit. Diese musste nix dolles an Funktionen haben :-) Funktionen sind ja u.a.: -Uhrzeit -Stoppuhr -Timer (Zurückzähler) -Occasn (eine Erinnerungsfunktion: Geburtstag, Termine usw.) -Alarm 1 -Alarm 2 -Alarm 3 Die Uhr kommt in einem netten Karton und ist recht gut verpackt. Das Display ist durch eine Folie geschützt die man abziehen muss. Das Display liegt auch was tiefer als das Gehäuse was vor Kratzern schützt. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist zwar auf Deutsch, aber so groß wie ein Zelt und man kann diese eigentlich nicht mehr zusammenfalten ;-) Das Licht leuchtet blau wenn man es im Dunkeln drückt. Ca. 2-3 Sekunden was man auch etwas länger einstellen. Kann. Funktionen die man nicht benötigt kann man auch ausblenden. Es gibt auch noch 3 Zeitzonen die man einstellen kann. Für welche Uhr ich mich entscheide kann ich noch nicht sagen. Haben beide ihr Vor / Nachteile. Alles andere seht ihr dann im Video :-) Gruß Micha
