I bought two bottles and waited awhile before giving a review. I am very pleased. One thing I was very happy and surprised about was how fresh and clean my mouth feels. I think that is because of the Oxyfresh. I use this product in my Waterpic each night before bed. For years I used a "Listerine-knock-off" mouthwash from Walmart or Family Dollar. I had a tooth break off and had to get an implant. To help me heal my dentist recommended StellaLife oral rinse. It is a great product, I like it, but it has gotten way to expensive. Every time I needed a bottle the price would go up, now it's over $33 a bottle. I can't pay that. So I started searching for a more affordable replacement and found this Pro Formula. A lot of reviewers said they don't like the peppermint flavor & thought it was too strong. I had no trouble with it and do not feel it is strong at all. (They also make a lemon peppermint that I thought could be similar to StellaLife but I haven't tried it. I just bought two more bottles of the peppermint. I was pleased to see a lot of dentist recommend it and also if you notice in reviews people say it has improved their gum health. I am happy to learn that as it contains zinc, a great healer. If you are hesitating like I was, just get one bottle and try it. I'm really glad I did.

Very good mouthwash.

It seems to work okay, but not quite as well as the lemon mint flavor. I use this because I am a periodontal patient with sleep apnea. I use a Bi-pap machine at night and have blisters on my mouth from my cancer medicine. The lemon mint tastes better to me, but more importantly it is more slippery due to the xylitol. At night it protects my gums better, they dry out less. When I ordered the regular mint flavor I didn't understand why it was $4 less per bottle. Now I know why. I just can't figure out why the difference in the formula. One thing: I believe my blood sugar are higher since starting this because of the xylitol. All non-sugar or honey sweeteners have this effect on my blood sugars.

Even though there are moments after eating when my breath isn't at its best, overall, the difference is remarkable. I highly recommend this product! Now, I stick to this one exclusively. I've struggled for years to find an effective product, and I believe I've finally found it. I opt for the three-pack whenever possible—it's more cost-effective in the long run.

I have found that if you use it before running it will keep your mouth moist for the duration of reasonably long run (10 km). This is especially helpful when running in cold and very dry weather such as Japanese winter weather. It also very effectively eliminates bad breath.
