Ordered 1 as USED LIKE NEW, but the box and product arrived damaged... Probably a shipping issue by the USPS and not Amazon. Requested a Return/Replacement through Amazon who quickly shipped my Replacement out and I had it in 3 days. This arrived undamaged and ready to use right out of the box without any assembly required. I see some reviews says theirs was more taupe than grey, but mine was definately the grey I was hoping to receive! I'm using it as a foot stool for my Queen Anne chair and it is the Perfect height to rest my feet on. The description says it is 15.5" high and it may be slightly higher than that due to the height of the cushion on top. Seems sturdy enough for what I intend to use it for. I did sit on it (145 lbs ) and it held my weight with no issues. Storage is tight, I only need it to hold my throw blanket in case I need it, with room for another or a small pillow, so for my intentions it is more than adequate. The top turns over into a serving tray to put my coffee cup on or my book. Love this item and it's size and versatility! Two together would be perfect to double as a coffee table/foot stool in a small space or an apartment! One side for your feet, the other utilizing the tray side of the cushion to set a beveridge or tv remote on! This item is smaller than some Reviewers anticipated, so double check the dimensions to see if it's right for you before purchasing and being disappointed. Very satisfied with my purchase!!

Meh. Nice concept w/the tray but the wood was way too rustic for the living room. Put the tray top on something nicer looking & placed the box on it’s side on a table on the porch to display things in.

I bought two of these to sit in my livingroom. One holds toys for my youngest daughter and the other holds item needed for the livingroom. These two wooden ottomans have definitely added a charming rustic look to my living room. The lid can be placed over to have a wooden surface or leave the cushion side up for firm seating when needed. The ottomans not only provide a rustic decor, but is also very convenience for several uses.

We wanted a tough storage cube seat that was reversible. This cube looks a little rustic but is well made. The reverse of the seat is great serving tray. Nice fabric upholstery too.

This ottoman is exactly what I was looking for. I love the versatility of foot stool or serving tray. Our beach cottage is small so we have to be creative and this piece definitely is. The color of the wood is a perfect weathered gray and is also well constructed. Padding for the foot stool is comfortable when putting your feet up and when reversed to use the tray the top fits in perfectly. I definitely recommend this piece.

Small, but cute -

My couch is constantly covered in books and magazines, that move from one end to the other. This footstool is big enough to put all of that in and give me a place to put my feet up instead of always having to stretch out on the couch. I wish the top was a little softer, but I already have to fight the cats for it anyway. I am very happy with this purchase.UPDATE: I still really love this stool, but a word of warning. the corners are really sharp. Would not recommend if you have a toddler. I cut my step too short and ran into it and scraped/cut my shin. Drew blood but not really a cut. I just gotta be more careful. I would still buy it though.

Endless uses. We put casters on the bottom so we can move them anywhere. You can use them as a foot rest, a tray table (flip the lid), and you can sit on them. And you can store things in them. We have done it all!
