Has anyone used this to grease bolt threads?

Yes I have used it to lube bottom bracket threads, threaded headsets, and hubs on my bike. Seems to work pretty good at keeping things turning and protected from the weather. Bolts come out after a period of time with out to much trouble.

Don't know, should be an oil that can seep between the plates of the chain.

can you use this on the derailleur?
