Otovent Adult Autoinflation Device Clinically Effective Treatment for Glue Ear.

This product worked wonders for me and I would 100% recommend. I caught a flight home whilst I was slightly congested and my ears became fully blocked. I had suffered with blocked ears for a week and visited the Doctor Who prescribed me antibiotics however these did not help and I was becoming very restless and anxious in trying to find a way to rectify this I was upset and frustrated as I couldn’t hear a thing and thought this was something I would have to live with. I bought this product as I had nothing else to lose. I was sure it wouldn’t work. However after the first go my ears popped and I was able to hear again I was so relieved anyone who is suffering from middle ear or fluid past the eardrum I would definitely recommend this product. My ears aren’t 100% but they’ve gone from 15% to now 85%. The package tells you to use this product for three weeks which I will continue to do so and will bring it with me when I go on any future travels. Highly recommend.

I had a bit of a cold and then had to catch a flight which proceeded to block my ear entirely. I tried ear drops, I tried water, I even tried going to get microsuctioning done and there was nothing that could relieve the blockage. My GP told me it was probably going to take up to 3 months for my hearing to return, and if it did not, then I would be referred to ENT. After 2 weeks of being partially deaf, I decided to try this product as the thought of waiting another 3+ months to be seen by an ENT specialist was unbearable. The reviews were mixed, but I quite literally had nothing better to try. After the first use, nothing special happened. I used it two more times that same day, and again - I would hear some pops/crackles in both ears but the blockage persisted. However, on the second morning... POP. I turned to my mother and said "no, I don't think this is working". I was stopped in my tracks as I began to realise that actually, my hearing had become slightly better. I used it again 5/6 times the same day and by the end of the day, the blockage had been completely cleared and I can hear now again!! I am so so so so so happy lol. I recommend watching the youtube video (if you type in "how to use otovent adults" there's a video that shows you 3 ways to do it) and just stay persistent!! Good luck besties <3

It worked for a while then it didnt. I am told persistance as can take "a few months".

This is ok for trying to clear out your ear canal. I had a blocked ear and got this as the pressure was building up. It did help a little and did ease some pressure but I just had to wait a few weeks for ears to become clear so not a quick fix

I’ve had a bad cold followed by 3 weeks of a blocked ear and deafness. Tried all sorts of things but no luck clearing it. Very sceptical about this product but it worked the first time I used it properly. Amazing! A bit fiddly to use but worth persevering.

Have to be honest, did not think this would work but after 2 months of glue ear i was willing to try anything. 3 days later it was gone. Great product, super easy to use.

I have seen that others have used this product and achieved the relief they needed. I bought this product on doctors recommendation as she said I had Eustachian tube dysfunction and this would help. I hesitated to buy this because I thought it was so expensive for what it was, but I have been so uncomfortable and feeling a bit unwell due to my right ear and reached a point where I would try anything to fix this problem. Started using it as soon it arrived and could only use it for 3 days (3 times a day X 3 days as suggested in their video), and had to discontinue as I started getting nosebleeds which Ive never had before and two days later and my nose Is still aching, and my right ear feels more blocked than ever. I hate to leave a bad review but surely I am not the only one who has had a lousy experience from using this? It might be one of those cases where you have to keep pushing through the bad until you get the result you need, but I don’t want to do that at the expense of my nose. I will continue to do the swallowing exercises but with water in my mouth and see if that helps, in any case I will not use this product ever again - even on doctors recommendation.

My daughter's doctor recommended this type of product. It worked great to help relieve her ear issues. I would definitely check with a doctor first. But it was very good priced versus other options.

My husband uses this to help keep his ears clear. He has tube in his ears snd sometimes they clog up. He says blowing into this helps.

If your condition is mild this may work but it did nothing for me. There was actually quite a wait while I waited for this to arrive so while waiting I put a large 2x3cm child's wooden bead in a normal party balloon and this actually worked better. The plastic nose attachment that come with these balloons is virtually no different in effect than a wooden bead kids use to make play necklaces.
