KNIPEX Pliers Wrench Pliers and a Wrench 250 mm, 86 01 250

Not cheap, but absolutely superb quality, and an invaluable tool. I have used it many times, and have never had it slip or damage a bolt head, despite it being used on rusted fixings. Tools of this quality are a pleasure to use.

Good solidly made tools, right length for tricky fastenings. With a bit of practice can be operated and adjusted with one hand whilst you have another tool in your left/other hand. Measuring gauge for the jaws width comes useful too, once you start to learn the standard fittings external nut sizes.

I got these as a recommended brand for DIY and they don't disappoint. The opening of the jaw length is a little fiddly but it clicks into place and holds strongly once you get the width. A great set of grippers and retired my old cheapies which kept slipping after a few years.

I really like Knipex and have several of the plier wrenches in different sizes from 100 to 300 in both the chrome and oxide finish and highly recommended them. Unfortunately within a week these started to rust. Little disappointed that the finish isn't more resilient. I would still recommend but probably best to get the chrome version or keep this dry and oiled to avoid rusting.

Versatile pliers that don’t damage surfaces, which makes it great for chrome radiator fittings etc. that you want to preserve the look of. Very easy to adjust, and you can apply a crazy amount of torque through them. I’ve had them for a long time and they’re holding up well.

Non deve mancare nella cassetta dei ferri del professionista o del fai da te evoluto. Non costa poco ma vale tutti i soldi spesi fino all’ultimo centesimo.
