Greens Blend Alkalize and Detox, 30 Servings

Outstanding product. I was suffering from some major post-holiday sluggishness and very SLOW digestion (if you catch my drift). I was sooo tired, bloated, unfocused and overall just feeling lousy after a December full of poor diet, travel sickness and antibiotics. I've now been using these greens once per day for 2 weeks and can honestly say I've had a HUGE improvement in energy levels and focus. My digestion has normalized (though beware...those first few days are definitely...ummm..."detoxifying"). I saw this overall improvement within the first week of use. I have missed one day and definitely felt a difference. Now, here's the thing: this is powdered veggies and herbs. IT DOES NOT TASTE GOOD. And honestly, expecting it to taste good is a bit silly. It is what it is. There are no added sweeteners or junk which is what makes it an excellent product, but as a result, no added sweetness. It absolutely tastes like dirt. BUT, I added mine to a thick juice (like Mango juice or Strawberry/Banana) and it was definitely tolerable. I would describe myself as pretty intolerant to bad-tasting things and the taste hasn't been bad enough to make me quit taking it. So my advice: mix it with a good quality juice and chug. Don't try to savor it. Just get it down. It's SOOOO worth it. I plan to finish the "Detox & Alkalize" and then move to the regular greens next month. These are absolutely worth it. Do your body a favor and give this a try!!

No it doesn’t taste great (the plain one). Like smoked out herbs, but does it work for my needs? Absolutely. The trick to making it taste better is either putting it in a smoothie or what I do is blend it with some electrolyte powder or juice of choice, and you gotta add a squeeze of lemon. It will cut some of that smokey grass taste. Does it blend well? It won’t all sink to the bottom and it doesn’t go down smooth. So I give it five because it works, and I can make it palatable. That trumps taste and texture.

Asked AI for a cheaper AG1 alternative and this was recommended. The scoop size is much smaller than the AG1 and it seems to mix better in water. But the taste is sharp, herb-y, and pungent (I know that describes smell, but its the only word that comes to mind... that and Thanksgiving stuffing which sounds even weirder). I tried mixing my energy powder with it and that didnt help it and I wouldn't recomend mixing with something else of a different flavor as it won't disguise it. The texture is about the same as just drinking water, so its easy to get down quickly lol. Ive not used it long term yet, but if the benefits outlway the taste, I could see getting it again but I plan to check other options first.

I love this stuff! I put 1 scoop of Green Superfood Alkalize & Detox in 4 oz of juice, give it a good stir and then down it with a straw. The taste isn't bad but adding it to juice makes it more pleasant. The texture is a little powdery because I only use 4 oz of liquid, however, I'm sure putting it in the recommended 8 oz of liquid or smoothie would eliminate that texture. I experience the flavor of the juice I choose with a hint of grass. I do not burp up the flavor. Within 30 mins to an hour after I drink this, I feel a difference in my body. I have more energy and I just feel "good"! I really like that it's packed full of cleansing and potent superfoods, alkalizing greens, antioxidant-rich fruits and also has support herbs that are certified organic, it's vegan, gluten free and non GMO. My body is very acidic so I like that it has alkalizing and detoxifying ingredients to help restore my pH balance and rid my body of toxins. I suffer from chronic aches and pains and adding this to my diet has helped my pain level diminish to a minimal level. I will definitely keep using this product as a daily staple to my diet.

Amazing Grass has always been my go-to greens mix. From the first scoop you feel curiously invigorated, like a bunch of good nutrition just bolted through your body, waking it up and enlivening it somehow. Okay, the taste is not great - reminds me of the alfalfa tablets I used to take, but that is easily solved by shaking it into a little juice or full-on smoothie. The main thing is that this product has stood the test of time, remains one of the best values for the money out there, as it always has, and it works - which is why we use this kind of thing. Note: I will not work for you if you don't have a scoop every day. If you do, you'll feel better. Be better. Highly recommended!

I love Amazing Grass original green superfood, so I thought I would try this derox blend. Woah, this tastes WAY worse. I have to hold my nose while I drink it and wash it down with a full glass of water (which is a great way to get the extra water, but what an unpleasant experience). Think garlic, spinach, broccoli and seaweed blended. The original is quite sweet and pleasant, this one is a chore to swallow. However, it makes me feel great. Provides a great boost it the morning, relieves any headache, hangover, or grogginess. Also, I have a 1 1/2 year old and before this felt like I was constantly sick. Taking this each morning has boosted my immune system so I rarely get sick instead of getting a cold every other week. So, worth it if you can stomach the taste. I will opt for the original blend in the future (all of the benefits with a better taste)

My wife swears by this stuff! i don't understand why she gets all miffed when I say she should just go outside and eat the grass. Same thing.

Smells like henna and taste like if I’m eating it, but it doesn’t matter if the products gonna make me feel better that’s the main reason, so I’ll adjusted my review in the future after i noticed the results. The future No significant results.

I tried the Green Grass . It was bitter as compared to the other brand which I was using earlier . I had to mix it in moderation in my smoothie . I had reduced my blood sugar levels during the first week of consumption . However it came back to the regular level later on. I am currently consuming it only twice a week during late evening.
