5 Port Network Ethernet Switch | Unmanaged Gigabit PoE+ | GS1005HP

I installed this Zyxel 5-port PoE+ switch in my business to simplify powering several network devices, and it’s been excellent so far. The plug-and-play setup was truly effortless — I connected it, and everything worked immediately without any configuration. The PoE+ capability is the biggest advantage. Being able to power multiple devices directly through the Ethernet cables eliminates the need for separate power supplies, which keeps everything much cleaner and more organized. The 60W budget has been more than enough for my current setup. I also really appreciate the fanless design. It runs completely silent, which is ideal in an office or customer-facing environment where noise would be distracting. The metal housing feels sturdy and well-built, and it doesn’t get excessively warm during operation. The compact size makes it easy to place on a desk or mount out of the way. Network performance has been fast and stable, with no dropouts or slowdowns. Overall, this has been a dependable and well-designed switch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another one for future expansion.

Have this connected to my Starlink router. Very easy setup, took less than 5 minutes. Plug and play with automatic POE detection. I like the way all the connectors are on one side including the power. Well engineered piece of kit. Works as designed. Will update if I run into any issues.

Using this to power a POE security camera, and will likely add a second POE camera in the future. Plug-and-play, no setup required, it just works! Easy to wall-mount next to my router. Looks very durable.
