Great gift
So, I recently got my father-in-law this RYOBI ONE+ 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Leaf Blower for Christmas, and let me just say, he's totally into it. He’s also not really my father-in-law but I’ve been with my partner for 10 years, so what do you call that person your boyfriend‘s dad? I don’t know. Tell me if you know.First off, can we talk about how convenient it is that this leaf blower is cordless? Like, no more hassle with cords getting tangled or tripped over – just grab it and go, you know? Now, I may not be a leaf-blower expert or anything, but this thing really does the trick. It blows away leaves and debris like nobody's business, leaving the yard looking fresh and tidy. And get this – it's part of the RYOBI ONE+ system, so if you've already got some RYOBI tools, you can use the same batteries and chargers. Talk about practicality, right? So, if you're looking for a gift for your father-in-law (or anyone who's into yard work, really), give this RYOBI ONE+ leaf blower a shot. It's easy to use, gets the job done, and might just earn you some brownie points with the in-laws.

Good addition to the Ryobi family.
I initially got this for my wife so she wouldn't have to she wouldn't have to struggle starting the gas blower. But, because of convenience I've ended up using this for quick, small jobs as well. It's obviously not gonna be as powerful as a gas blower but it's way more convenient and much quicker and easier to get going. It's got decent power and if you already have Ryobi batteries this thing is a must have for quick jobs. It's light and has just enough power to get the job done.

KNOW what you're getting...
I bought this "light duty" blower having a pretty good estimate of what I was getting and being a little "cheap" in the process.I bought it only because I got tired of coiling up 150 feet of drop cord after a tough, hot mow-job always had to be finished off with blowing off the driveway and a few walks. What prompted me to seek this tool was that I already had 2 of the batteries on-hand from a Ryobi drill I have owned and used HARD for quite a few years now. The drill has been an excellent purchase/value and has served me well. The original batteries aren't as good as they used to be but they're still good enough to keep cranking without requiring replacement in my drill or my recently purchased Ryobi mini-vac.With all of that in mind, this blower is reasonably light and reasonably powerful. I don't yet know if it's going to blow off heavier grass later in the season but so far it is working pretty well. I do have to hurry with my "blowing" because the battery life is probably less than 10 minutes for me (as I said, my batteries are not new). I don't mind hurrying, for now, but I may end up purchasing an extra off-brand battery later in the Summer if I can't finish my job with 1 battery. The reason I cannot give this blower 5 stars is because I am accustomed to using an old, corded blower that has considerably more power and, of course, endless usability. This blower is actually very good and, I'm sure provides plenty of power for most peoples general "sweeping" needs. I would NOT purchase it for larger jobs like moving a lot of leaves in the Fall. For that job, its power and performance would be sorely lacking. As a quick sweeper, it's actually very good and plenty powerful for short bursts. In conclusion, as long as you know what you are buying and know the limitations, you will probably really like this blower. It's light enough, well balanced, and comfortable to use. If you get it with a brand-new battery (which I did not), it should do even better than I described. I'd love to give it 5 stars but, having loved my powerful corded blower for 19 trouble free years, this just isn't in the same league. This does what I bought it for...as long as I hurry.

Great for quick & frequent cleanups
Our back patio is a wind tunnel and collects a lot of leaves on breezy days. I was tired of picking up leaves that the dog tracked into the house. It’s a pain to retrieve our large blower, unraveling the long extension cord, then re-rolling up the cord when done, at least on a frequent basis. This blower is light, cordless, and powerful enough to blow all the leaves away. The battery doesn’t last long and it’s not powerful enough to blow massive amounts of leaves (especially when wet or on the lawn), but it’s perfect for porches, sidewalks, garages, etc. Bonus if you already have Ryobi batteries for other tools. I didn’t have to buy another battery or charging station.

It’s good for small stuff
I love this blower, my other one is a backpack by echo which is an overkill 9 months out of the year. This one though is easy to carry up on the roof, great for the garage, patios, front sidewalk and drying off my dirt bike. It’s light and has a variable control. The wind speed is really good, volume not so much. If you’re trying to move wet leaves off a fair sized yard this is not what you need. I do find it helps not blow so much rock/bark dust into the grass if I use this before firing up the 2t.

3 Years and Still Works Perfect
I already had a 18 volt Ryobi battery so this made sense to get. We have a 300 ft driveway that I was stringing out extension cords on and dragging a plugin blower into. This is a game changer for sure. The battery has never run out on the driveway with the trigger down pretty much the whole time. It's strong enough to blow grass clippings off of a 10' wide driveway with no problem at all. I've blow some leaves around with it as well and it's strong enough to do the job.
