smaller than Filtrete by 1/4 inch-loose fit in my filter box
I need a 12 x 24, not a 11 something by 23 something!! How can making it the right size be a problem since it is supposed to be made in the USA. These 11 1/2 x 23 1/2 are 1/4 inch shorter in length and width and 1/8 inch smaller in thickness. I ordered some 1/2 x 1/8 inch foam weatherstripping to use on the edges in the filter box so the filter will fit better. Still, a good price if they work okay!! A dirty coil was an 800 dollar job 10 years ago. The see through spider web looking filters caused that!! Those filters were only 2 dollars apiece. You do get what you pay for most of the time!!

Merv Matters
Actually, I THINK they wanted me to review the Merv 8, my more recent purchase. First time I've tried a less expensive, less effective rating filter version... from former #13 merv, to this version, an #8, HUGE difference. Next purchase will be back to a 13 which is far more effective for allergens. DUH. No fault of the manufacturer. I am sure I got what I paid for; just not what I need. Live and learn. I gave them a 5 because there has never been a disappointment when I ordered what I actually should have. Have confidence.

Filters everything great
We have 4 dogs & during the summer there is a lot of sheading & we have tile instead of carpet so the dust remains on top & not under the pad.

Allergy ratings
Very happy with these allergy filters. The price is good and the quality is wonderful. It seems as if the high allergy rating is will assist me with my allergies. I’ll let you know. They seem to be made almost as well as the 3m filters. Maybe the 3m filters have a little stronger cardboard frame. You can’t go wrong with these filters and quality.
