Best Tripod I've Owned
This tripod is just great! It's very sturdy, easy to use and has a couple of design features that I'm sure other brands will copy. First off, it's really sturdy, especially for a tripod without a spreader. I've used this in many different scenarios, and it works great for its size and weight. The leg clamps are easy to adjust and aren't noisy. They slide in better than any other tripod I've used apart from the super high-end Sachtler. The best part of this tripod is the swivel top mount that allows you to level any tripod head without adjusting the legs.I highly recommend this tripod over anything near its price range, especially the Manfrotto and Benro brands.

This is how tripods at this price should be made!!
Biggest issue I have had with other major brands and cheaper brands are the tripod locks. I get tired of always always having to adjust. Most of them did not use the spring latches like this tripod DOES.Tripods are basic essentials but for the work I do I need something that is BEEFCAKE and this Tripod fit the bill perfectly. The Flip Lock levers always work. No slippage even with heavy payloads like a gimbal head Caged Sony camera and large 600mm lens. I chose the aluminum over CF because I have had other CF tripods fracture which is not good. I probably exceeded the payload limit but why not test them. For LS photog this tripod is stellar. Supports the weight and never gives or slips regardless of the leg positions or length. Some other brands lock fully extended in each fully out position but often slip somewhere in between. Not what I want!!I had a Man 290 simply slip enough to knock the camera over. I have had winds blow the high end PD CF models around. Again I don't look for lightweight, but those had stellar reviews and for me didn't cut the mustard as they say. This tripod is robust, sturdy, handles video heads, geared heads, gimbal heads just fine. The best part for me is in the last few months of having this I have NEVER adjusted tension on the lever locks. Other brands its a routine PITA ordeal. IFOOTAGE You did GREAT here!! Highly recommended.I wished it came in gray color, blue to go with Benro heads, or simply black. The red is OK, but not the greatest choice for other brands of heads and accessories. I have gotten used to it though.

Heavier than I expected
I read the weight of the tripod before buying and also saw a couple of reviews mentioning the difference between the TA and the carbon fibre version was not significant . It appears to be an excellent tripod but with a long lens it FEELS much heavier than I thought it would. This is a tripod for short walks or "park and shoot" photography.

Hard to carry
There should be two 1/4 inch holes on the side and they should have Arri locating pins. And ifootage should make a handle to screw into the side in the 1/4 inch hole so it's easy to carry around with the camera on it. This is NOT easy to carry around with the camera on it

Excellent build quality
Solid tripod, essay to set up and sort of light to carry

By far, best tripod for the money
From the minute you unpack this iFootage tripod, it is immediately clear that it is miles above the many other tripods in this price range. Rock solid, thick legs, very high workmanship of materials and nothing is loose, and so well thought out with its features: one-hand easy open leg locks that don't pinch fingers, quick open-lock half-bowl for levelling, auto-ratcheting leg positioning locks, integrated removeable centre column, etc. It has taken me buying seven other tripods over the years to now and finally being able to say this one is THE one. Well, done iFootage. Here's to many years on the trails with this rugged gem of a tripod
