Wera provide very good quality tools and this is up to. the same standard. I use this in an impact driver and it works brilliantly. put your bit in the end of the holder and it fits with a reassuring click. To release the bit you need to pull the sheath forward, no chance the bit will pull out of holder without this. It has a strong magnet inside which provides a fantastic hold of the screws. Cost wise it is expensive compared to other holders but you do get the quality with the price.

This tool accessory is superbly made. The 'Rapidaptor' part of this is much appreciated. It is FAR superior to superficially equivalent items from the likes of DeWalt and Bosch etc. Even the shaft seems very well engineered and made. Oh, by the way:- please ignore any comments about this item not doing well when used with impact drivers. People who do that are abusing their tools. This is for manual screw/nut driving use, and as long as its never used with an impcat driver, this should last for many many years.

Brilliant tool if you use for light work with a impact driver once you get bigger screws it starts to twist and the quick insert bit stops working as smoothly but good apart from that

Its Wera I have six Wera bit holders which I use All day long in repeat assembly. Why six I do alot of work with inter changing them using impact drivers, driving T40 bolt heads to fine work with PZ1 to repetitive work driving self tappers using a R2 and PZ2 & T20 and a 3mm pilot bit Very robust. But this one is handy because it's a long shaft for difficult to access. I dont need to say any more Made in Germany.

This is one of the best investments I've ever made. First quick-change drill adapter I've purchased, and the time it saves will pay for itself many times over. This outfit is small enough to fit in a pocket and very lightweight. The quick change adapter is small to fit in tight places. It functions different from over quick-change connectors that I've used where you have to pull back against spring pressure to release or insert. Instead, pulling the outer part of the adapter outwards toward the bit, releases lock on the bit. The magnet holds the bit in place to keep it from popping out. Then continue the outward motion, grasp the bit and lift it out. Insert another bit pressing inwards & the adapter locks into place. It functions very smoothly & with minimal exertion. I can hold a piece of wood in place with one hand while at the same time, all with the other hand, drill through wood with quick-change countersink bit, rest drill on something, remove countersink & insert drive bit, place wood screw on drive bit (magnet of adapter is strong enough to hold medium size screw to bit), and drill screw into wood. It's great. My only complaint is the hardness of the bits. I have a bit I've had for years that has less wear than one of these bits after a few weeks. I would be glad to pay extra if harder bits were included.
