#4 Speed Yellow Bear Shuffleboard Powder Wax 16 oz

I have tried other brands, SunGlow is excellent. Mixes well with #5 and is moisture resitant. Minimal to zero clumping and troweling

We just finished building our shuffleboard and this wax couldn't have been better for it. It was perfect for our 16 foot shuffleboard. I did some research before and though that the #4 would be best, and it was perfect. The speed is great on it and would be awesome for anyone would is playing for fun. I would recommend this shuffleboard wax for anyone with a shuffleboard table 12-22 feet

It made our table pretty fast for a 9’. Works as it should though and is quality. Will try a different speed next to slow it down.

Sun-Glo is more or less the only major shuffleboard company in the game. I would suggest reading up on their different speed "wax" to get one that works for you. The lower the number the faster the course. If you want a slower game or like me have an undersized table (14 feet) you want something higher. After some experimenting I have found that four works best for my table. The container is solid, the synthetic "wax" (which if you are new to shuffleboard looks like a sand and acts to speed up the game) is consistent and I really like the old school look of the container. This should last you a really long time. As the sand goes off the table you can always use a credit card or other item to get it up and redistribute it onto the table. I will buy this again. The only reason I give it four stars is because I have never found or used another product, so there is really no comparison.

I bought this level 4 speed because the only other one I had ever used was a #1 and it was just too fast for beginners, or if the table is not 100% level. The #1 is more of a tiny silicone ball that makes the pucks slide extemely fast whereas this #4 is more like sand/saw dust. My table is 14 feet long and I personally feel that this speed is good for beginners, but not nearly as fun for seasoned players. I'm not going to spend more money on another speed at this time, but when I do re-purchase I will be buying the #2 speed. Be sure to try different speeds and go off your own preference, but if you want more of a challenge I would recommend #2 or lower.

Numbers 1, 2 & 3 were too fast. No matter how lightly the pucks were pushed they kept going and off the other end. 5 & 6 seemed to clump and pucks would just randomly stop. So far #4 Yellow Bear is perfect on my 9 foot table.

Good powder for shuffleboard. Just make sure the speed level before ordering. I bought level 4 and love it.

Best shuffleboard powder I have used. Speed 4 seems just right for casual play on my 12' board. I have tried speeds 2,3,4,5 and prefer 4 for casual play. If all players are quite good then go with an even faster speed

The silica beads that came with our table made it like putting on a glass table. We tried the slower speeds (6&7) and they were FAR too slow. This seems to be a great balance. Will surely buy again when we run out!
