I got this last fall to start practicing with more traditional mediums. I haven't really worked with gouache before so I can't compare it, but the paint is excellent. It's so easy to carry around and set up to start painting, as you basically have all the colors already out and just need to pick which ones to use. A separate mixing palette is inside, so you can put your individual colors on that to mix. They do dry out since all of them are out, but it's easy to spritz with water to rehydrate. The colors are very pigmented and easy to mix. Overall I would really recommend it, especially for people first starting out with gouache. I also got the brush set with it, which the brush set isn't bad but it's just another option. The quality of them are pretty good, I just have only been using a select few of the brushes. I got them mainly to match the pink of the set lol

I got these for a gouache painting class I’ll be taking, comes with a large amount of paint. A lot heavier than I was expecting. I got the brush set along with the paints and the brushes are very pretty and the box is cute. The paints seem to be very pigmented and dry super matte. I think I’ll enjoy using them. Paint cups come with a lot of paint. They wet very easily with water after they dried on my palette and go transparent well for watercolor effects. Included a not well done picture of a character from naruto I attempted,y first attempt with this type of paint so not sure of techniques

I love this new set of Paints. It is so much fun to experiment with this medium. I've never used gouache before and this is a great starter kit. The paints do tend to dry out over a long period of time. I recommend adding a bit of water to each pot for closing it. I've had a lot of luck keeping the paint fresh with this. Even if it dries out it's not that big of a deal it's watercolor type paint so just add some water.

The paint is great. It is my first gouache set and so far it is living up to my very high expectations. The brushes are not what I was expecting. They are stiff and much more like acrylic brushes. They do not work well with the paint. I would only recommend them for aesthetic purposes because they are very long and beautiful, or for use with other types of paint. Overall, it is a very nice set of paint and there is a LOT of paint

I wanted to try these out ever since I saw them all over and I'm happy about this purchase. I'm happy that they reactive with water so I don't waste any paint. The paint brushes are not good, they're more like brushes you get for kids. They're cheap but they're cute at least and I like the box it came in.

This product is beyond words. It's not chalky when dries, it's highly pigmented, opaque and incredibly layerable. Feels like I'm painting with oils, acrylics and watercolors all at once, creating a new kind of experience for me. The brushes are gorgeous and very good quality, I am not sure the bad reviews people left about the brushes.... Do you even paint bro? Lastly, the presentation is GORGEOUS! These are a definite YAS!

The brushes are falling apart

Overall fantastic paints. They lay down beautifully and layer great as well. As theyre water based, it’s easy to fix mistakes but not as easy to layer. Over all, for the price and amount of paint you get this is a great deal and super cute.

Really satisfied with my purchase. These paints are easily comparable to Renckens and other bigger name brands and they perform just as good.

the paint is wonderful and I defiantly recommend it to beginners and any one else who's into painting. The only thing is the brushes aren't the best. They seem like they'd work much better with oil paints when it comes to the bigger brushes. The thinner ones are great for all mediums in my opinion but mostly acrylic, oil, and gouache.

The paints are prone to molding as I am sure others have been aware of. But the paints are delightful color-wise and its use. The only downside is the brushes, I appreciate they add those in, however, they are cheaply made and bristle and fall apart, it is not a brush I would recommend for painting.
