What are the dimensions of each hair pin?

Yes, I agree with the previous response. 2.5 x .5 inches.These pins are very flexible and slide in and out of my hair easily.

Do these pins work on very long hair? A little longer than waist length

Yes! My hair is the same length as yours and they work. I often twist or braid then wrap the hair in a bun then use the pins. Even a messy bun style works well. They are just a great pin. You will be happy with them.

Will these hold individual pin curls in place? flying, need to have curls pinned but tsa frowns on tons of metal pins.

It would depend on how thick your hair is, if you have superfine thinner hair, then no, don't think they would work. They are designed to hold more hair in place. Have you considered rag rolling it? That is just cloth or ribbon and should work for you if think these won't. I will say these pins do hold very well, but I have only used them to support a bun or twist.

Can these be used to hold rollers?

No. We would recommend Sta Rite Hot Roller Clips or Pro Touch Hot Roller Clips. They are both made of metal for durability and won't break.
