Fast and durable snow tube (comparison with Bradley, L. L. Bean)
I tried out a Bradley, Fat Tire, and L. L. Bean snow tube over a couple days. All of them are great fun and seem solidly constructed. I used the cigarette-lighter-powered tire pump from my car to inflate them.Fat Tire is a close second (to L. L. Bean) for speed. Its flexible bottom cover is slicker than Bradley's, but the covers are otherwise very close to the same size and shape. It does have a built in leash, though the handle tends to flatten out, so it takes a moment to poke a mittened hand through. It does feature round handles instead of just canvas straps, but practically I didn't find it mattered much. The Bradley tube is slower than the others. The slick bottom portion of the cover is slightly textured. It also doesn't have a leash built in, though it does have a loop to attach the leash; I just tied on a rope, which worked fine. It's a good tube if you have someone who doesn't want to go super fast (though it can still get going quickly once the sled run is established; maybe 80-90% of the other tubes' speeds). The inner tube on ours ended up bulging a bit after some use, even though it was inflated about the same as the Fat Tire and L. L. Bean which didn't bulge; it seems to be cosmetic only, and may be user error. The L. L. Bean tube is decidedly the fastest. It has a slightly lower profile than the Bradley or Fat Tire, and has a hard shell bottom instead of a plastic/canvas type bottom. It's slick enough that it often starts sliding down the hill on its own if you forget to flip it upside down when out of use. It also has a nice detail in the leash: there's a twist in the handle so that it's always easy to get a mitten through the loop.Any of these tubes is great on a sledding hill, and it seems like they'll last many seasons.

Fat Tire VS Bradley Heavy Duty Snow Tube
I have purchased and used both the Fat Tire and Bradley Heavy Duty Snow Tube and the results are in.Who dose its better?Price = BradleyHandel placement = Fat tireOverall Size = BradleySpeed = Fat tireOuter shell = BradleyShipping = BradleyTowing = neither is rated for such abuseOver all the Bradley snow tube came out on top. Also I must mention when I received and unpacked the Fat tire the outer shell bottom had stress lines and a few minor holes from were it was folded up in the box from shipping. I contacted the manufacture about this and in there disbelief and denial of the problem they sent me a new outer shell that I never received. By the time this all happened my return period was over and now I'm stuck with it I hope the bottom of the shell holds up.

Pure Fun
I've had two "cheap" snowtubes in the past. The first one lasted us a good while but the second one popped on us our 3rd time down a hill. Saw some people (teenagers) abusing what looked like a really heavy duty purpose built snow tube so I went on Amazon and a few other sites and did some searching and came across these gems. If I were to have any qualm about them is that for kids that are small, there is no padding in the middle for their tush. That's easily remedied and a very minor issue and because of how truly great this product is I can't negate a star for it.I've only used it once but it's solidly built and the leash is perfect for toting it back up the hill, just make sure it's inside the snowtube before you go down the hill so it doesn't get caught

This can hold up to abuse
This can hold up to abuse. I'd expand on that but then someone would do it wrong, get injured and then sue me. You need a powered compressor to inflate this tube. Setup took about 30 minutes using a portable 12VDC compressor meant for car tires. 30 minutes of opening the box, reading the directions, getting my compressor out, getting a 12VDC power source connected, getting the tube situated inside the canvas, then inflating. The actual inflating itself took maybe 15 to 20 minutes. Don't even think about using a manual bicycle pump. The negative poster about the tube being too small must not have inflated it properly. Lay a yard stick across the top and then a perpendicular (vertical) ruler to measure from the bottom to the horizontally positioned yard stick or straight edge laying across the tube. The instructions state what that measurement should be when inflated. They don't state though if that measurement should be taken at room temperature or at the temperature outside where it will be used. I'd imagine perhaps to take that measurement outside then deflate it a little when storing inside because it will expand when the air gets warmer.

THIS TUBE IS INDESTRUCTABLE!!
Watching everyone around me cracking their tobagans, popping their pool floats, and tubes or going sideways left or right, this FAT TIRE tube will not and cannot die!! as durable as it gets, I'm 250 lbs with my 90 lb son on my back, this tube can hold Andre the Giant!! Would probably be amazing for white water rafting... A must have for those who constantly throw their money out the window on cheap sleds and saucers. Youll never have to buy another tube again... Customer service is amazing as well.. They called me back to answer some questions I had.. This is how companies should run their businesses.

Heavy duty snow tube!
The Fat Tire is the very best snow tube that this family has ever owned. We've had one for over three years now and it's still in perfect condition. Our family is growing, so I just purchased another one on Amazon because it's such a quality product and felt it warranted a review. We went to a snow park in Wisconsin last winter and I thought the Fat Tire Snow Tubes were better made! The top material is thick and handles sticks and kids jumping on it repeatedly. The foam grips are nice for holding tight as you slide down the hill and the leash makes it easy for the smaller kids to pull it. It's perfect for older folks (like me) who don't want to get jolted by the hard ground. And it's always the hit of the snow hill wherever we take it. Now that we have two, I'll have to take the truck to the snow hill because two of these will not fit in the trunk of our car! Thank you for a fun product for kids and adults.
