Lasko Fan I have had this fan for three years now, and I run it almost every single day. I live in Fresno, California and reach the triple digits five out of 12 months. I run it the other seven months as well. But this fan is amazing, absolutely amazing. It’s quiet and the three air settings offer perfect air on demand with the convenient remote control, which works from across the room. I like that I can center the air on myself while I watch TV or read. This is not gonna handle a large room or a room with lots of people. It will move the air around, but it’s really shining when used to focus on a couple of people in a room. Or a child’s room or playroom or adult room for sleeping, It’s brilliant for that.

I’ve had the Lasko Oscillating Tower Fan (Model T42951) for almost two years, and let me tell you — I love this damn thing. In fact, I ended up buying two because the first one impressed me so much. Quiet, Powerful, and Reliable This fan moves air like it’s got something to prove. Even on the higher settings, it stays surprisingly quiet — perfect for sleeping. I run mine every night, and it still hums smoothly without rattling, grinding, or doing that “I’m old and tired” noise cheaper fans make after a few months. Oscillation Is Smooth The oscillation is clean and consistent. No jerky movements, no clicking, no weird noises. It spreads airflow evenly across the room, which makes a huge difference in keeping the whole space comfortable. Remote Control = Convenience The remote is simple, responsive, and works from across the room. I use it constantly at night to adjust speed or turn the fan off without getting up. Built to Last A lot of tower fans give up after a year — dust, noise, motor strain, you name it. Not this one. I’ve kept mine clean and maintained, and it’s rewarded me by running like new. For the price, the durability is honestly impressive. Looks Good in Any Room The silver finish and slim design make it look modern and clean. It doesn’t take up much space, and it blends in instead of sticking out like an eyesore. Bottom Line If you want a quiet, dependable, long‑lasting tower fan, this is the one. I bought this same fan probably a year ago. I looked it up by name and ordered another one. Best fan I’ve ever had. I use it on oscillate. It’s quiet and highly effective . It really makes a difference. I live in Arizona. That’s a good recommendation right there!

This fan has three speeds; the airflow on Low is fine for me when I'm within 8 feet of the fan. There is very modest wind noise even on High, but there is also some motor noise (hum), especially on Med and High. The hum seems to come out the back, so it is louder if you have the back of the fan against a wall, which reflects the hum. The hum bugs me, but I'll adapt. It oscillates about 90 degrees (if you have that turned on) which is right for me. There is a night setting, which runs the fan on High for some time (an hour, I think), then switches to Med, then to Low. This is of no use to me but might be nice for some (It's described as a bedroom fan, which is not my use). It needs the base to be"assembled"--i.e. snapped together; otherwise the circular base would require a much bigger shipping box. Very simple to do that and then to twist the base onto the tower. The tower design takes up much less space than my previous Lasko floor-stand design. (I replaced that one because it became noisy due to wobble created by worn shaft/bearing/bushing.) There is a remote control, which I don't need (I'll lose it anyway), but it seems to require line-of-sight from less than 10 feet away.

This fan holds up well. I purchased my first one over 6 years ago and it just recently stopped working. It’s sturdy and quiet and cools the room nicely. I don’t normally write reviews, but this one needed it. I’m pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone.

What you need to know- Easy to set up, airflow is top notch, the remote allows for easy adjustments from bed, and the quality seems pretty darn good. It has been a while since I have had to buy a fan and while it was pricier than others, the wood grain and slim tower allow for airflow without being an eyesore. I like the feature of adjustable time and rotation.

Love this fan so much I bought three more. The remote is so handy but if you don’t need it, just hook it to the back of the fan. Air went out at work and I was one of the few that brought in a tower fan. It was on for 9 hours for four day and did not falter once. While the rest of the office was 88 degrees, I was very comfortable. I’ve had the first fan for over 10 years and while it’s a little loud, runs great. It’s used everyday in our bathroom to circulate the air for no less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend this fan.

This is our second one as the last one still works smoothly after many years. So we got exactly the same one. It is not only sleek, but also quiet with good and cool air circulation. No fancy app-control and other functions m. Basic and sturdy.

Muy bueno y silencioso

Desde hace trece años tengo un calefactor lasko sin que presente problemas. De ahí mi elección por esta marca. Es muy sencillo armar el pedestal y ya ensamblado el ventilador alcanza algo más de un metro de altura. Funciona bien. En el primer nivel de intensidad percibes bien la ráfaga a dos metros de distancia y a tres metros ya se siente menos, pero aún es notoria. El material es bueno, porque no requieres más. Un material más robusto lo haría pesado y ello impactaría en el consumo de energía. La abertura de ventilación cubre, aproximadamente, un sesenta por ciento de la altura del ventilador, pero sí expele aire por toda la ranura. He visto ventiladores que no lo hacen así. Creo que le falta rango de cobertura en el giro; de los 180° que corresponden al frente (ningún ventilador los cubre), abarca 60°; pero es una apreciación personal y puede no compratirla mucha gente. Agradezco que es ligero y más lo agradecerán usuarios de la tercera edad o personas que no puedan cargar objetos pesados. Su volumen no es muy estrecho, pero ese factor ya es algo que puede afectar de formas muy puntuales. Los controles proyectan muy poca luz, así que no es incómodo ni distractor (incluyo imágen); hace ruido, como todos, pero no es desagradable, ni siquiera en la mayor intensidad. Puntos específicos: - NO ES IONIZADOR - INCLUYE CONTROL REMOTO - POSEE TRES NIVELES DE INTENSIDAD - APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO: 30 min. - 7.5 hs. Me costó dos mil pesos y pude haberlo comprado por mil setecientos cuando estábamos en los frios invernales. Se irán encareciendo estos aparatos desde ahora.

This is the best thing happened to me. Being for Asia I was missing the felling of fresh breeze on your face when you lie down under a fan. To my surprise this tower fancies exactly the same thing as a ceiling fan. It is not noisy but you get used to it once you have it. This was very easy to assemble and light weight to move around the house. The remote works perfectly and it has 3 speeds which makes it easier to use as per the weather. It is very sturdy though lightweight. Best fan ever and once you feel the cool breeze of this fan you cannot live without it.
