Fantastic! For its low price and the light achieved throught the CN-160, it's worth the investment!
I have had some unfortunate situations where I have had to shoot photos with low light outdoors and using my flash and avoiding the use of a very high ISO, the end result were blurry pictures because I had to guesstimate. I invested in ring lights but the problem was the light was not strong enough. I needed a better light to shoot my subject(s) and figured, I would need to invest in purchasing an expensive lamp and a battery pack. But my friend in Japan had a device that connected right on top of his hot shoe and he had control of how much light he had. But he was in Japan, I was in the USA and was a bit bummed because I wasn't planning to go to Tokyo any time soon. But my friend said they were available in the U.S. and pointed me to the CN-160 on Amazon. And sure enough, having received the device, here is my review for the Neewer Pro CN-160. I. WHAT IS INSIDE THE BOX? Inside is the Neewer Pro CN-160, battery adapter, one white, one pink and one orange filter plus a silver wallet to store each filter. The battery adapter allows for one to use three kinds of Sony lithium batteries, a Panasonic lithium battery or six AA regular or rechargeable batteries. II. INSTALLING THE BATTERIES Well, in terms of the Sony or Panasonic lithium batteries, I didn't have the right size to test those out on the adapter but I did test them with six Eneloop rechargeable batteries. But all you have to do is remove the back cover and insert your batteries and install the back cover to make sure your batteries don't fall out. III. TESTING THE DEVICE Attaching the CN-160 to the hot shoe was easy. There is a locking mechanism to keep the device in place, you can adjust the amount of brightness with a knob on the side of the device. There is a button that you can press to test the charge capacity of a battery. But went outside at 9 p.m. to shoot and immediately, I was please by the amount of brightness there was from the device. Granted, it won't be comfortable for portraits as you don't want people looking directly to your camera with the bright light shining on their faces. But if you have them looking to the side, it works perfectly. Great for those shooting objects, flowers or plants at night and once again, you have control over the amount of light by a simple turn of a knob. In front of the LED light are holders, so you can use the white filter for a diffuse effect, the amber/orange filter for a 3200K color temperature effect or a pink filter. But the regular light on its own has a color temperature of 5400K. Because this uses six batteries, not only did I find this device to be affordable but also cost effective if one uses a rechargeable batteries. The device runs on battery power for a long time and just a great lamp light for your DSLR! JUDGMENT CALL: For those who have shot photos or video outdoors and have been through those moments of wishing you had strong light at that moment, well now you know that there is an affordable device that gets the job done. All you need is a hot shoe, so if you have one, Canon, Nikon or whatever brand of camera that you have, this device will work. Avoid the ring lights, the Neewer Pro CN-160 LED camera video lamp gives you the light you need for those low-light situations for a wonderful price under $35. It takes six AA batteries and also utilizes Sony and Panasonic lithium batteries. It comes with three color filters and does what is expected of this device! A magnificent lighting device that I highly recommend! 5 Stars!

I use my CN-160 light panel every day and that is not an exaggeration. This light panel has helped me on dozens of little jobs.
NEEWER 160 LED CN-160 Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel Digital Camera / Camcorder Video Light, LED Light for Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Panasonic,SONY, Samsung and Olympus Digital SLR Cameras I purchased this light panel in 2014. At the time, I was really interested in video production and I needed a powerful but light and affordable light system. My camera rig consisted of a Canon 70D mounted to an Opteka X-GRIP, which is basically just a simple, foam-handled camera grip. Now I did not realize this when I bought X-GRIP, but this exact combination was popular with skateboarders. It is because they can glide down the road carrying their SLR in one or two hands, and simultaneously record smooth footage of their ride. Furthermore, I noticed many of these skaters shot at nighttime. In order to capture their footage, they mounted a powerful, little light panel to the hot shoe that’s built into the top of their Opteka X-GRIP. It’s nifty, little setup. After seeing how powerful the light is, I decided to purchase two CN-160 light panels for myself. Budget Three-Point Lighting Now I’m not a skateboarder. I was just a budget videographer who needed a cheap and portable three-point lighting system. The CN-160 was the answer to my problem. Once again, I am not a professional videographer. However, I was able to create professional looking stuff using two of these light panels plus the cheap soft box I already owned. Of course, I needed to attach each one to a light stand, which was an additional purchase. (I purchased the cheapest Cowboy Studio light stands I could find on Amazon.) I also needed to order two light stand adapters. I went with high quality Manfrotto adapters. You do not want to cheap out when it comes to this. The plastic ones break too easily. I think if you’re trying to produce your own YouTube videos, this is a good product for you. If you’re trying to pull off professional lighting for a paid gig like a wedding or glamour shoot, you might want to look into more professional stuff. However, if you’re just getting into videography, this is more than adequate. Just be sure to purchase two. Also, make sure you have light stands and adapters so you can position the panels anywhere and make adjustments on the fly. Not Just For Videography I use my CN-160 light panel every day and that is not an exaggeration. My apartment is kind of dim. My family is always complaining about the lack of light fixtures. I’ve been meaning to address that issue, but lately I find myself using my light panel for countless every day activities. For example, it’s a great reading light, especially if you pair it with a flexible tripod such as a GorillaPod. Simply position it on your nightstand and use the dimmer switch to adjust its level of power. (It is extremely bright. You won’t need to use its highest setting.) I also use the CN-160 to do repairs around the house. It certainly came in handy when I had to work underneath the kitchen sink. It’s easier to set up than a plastic droplight and you don’t need to deal with a 25-foot extension cord. I’ve even used it to change my car battery at night. This light panel has helped me on dozens of little jobs. I bought this light panel to help me with my videography and I’m not even doing that anymore. So I’m glad it’s getting plenty of use instead of collecting dust in my junk box. Battery Life According to its Amazon description, the CN-160 will accept several different types of rechargeable batteries, which are produced by Sony and Panasonic. I simply didn’t feel like purchasing those special battery packs. I simply use rechargeable AA batteries (Panasonic Eneloop). The CN-160 requires six AA batteries. Sometimes when I fall asleep reading, I forget to switch off the light panel. Nine hours later, the light is down to about 20 percent, but still quite bright. I don’t know how many hours NEEWER promises, but I’m happy with my battery life. I will admit that if I were using regular, non-rechargeable batteries, it probably would start to get expensive.

Not bad for the price; Still not 100% professional
I decided to take a chance at an inexpensive LED option. I do wedding videography with Panasonic HMC150 cameras. I've had a Lowel light and Bescor battery pack (heavy). I thought I wanted something that would provide similar quality light without the heaviness of the battery pack and light on top. This LED panel is certainly better with regards to weight. I just finished a wedding this weekend where I used it exclusively for guest interviews on the camera. The light worked very well. I also purchased the Cowboy Studio CN-160 (more expensive, but it includes a battery, so it is roughly the same). I did have an issue with the included battery remaining in place when I positioned that light "vertically" as opposed to "horizontally". The cons: *I ordered a second-hand NP-F550 battery and this battery would not work properly in this light. I had to hold the battery at an angle and it would produce light, but when I snapped it into position, the battery would not work. Presumably there was some sort of issue with the connectivity between the battery and the unit itself. It was a Denmar DLS550 battery, a generic NP-F550. Obviously that was no good. After trouble-shooting various options, I found that this light worked just fine with the NP-FM50 battery (generic brand). I just had no way of knowing exactly why the NP-F550 did not work properly on my particular unit. This could have simply been an aberration for this one particular battery and another one may work just fine as advertised. *There is a tint of blue in the light. I think some other reviewers mentioned this as well. It shouldn't be too much trouble to fix it in editing/post. *The unit is plastic, and you should use care when handling it. If you are careful with it, I see no reason why it would break. If you don't, you could easily break the mount. The pros: *Inexpensive *No heat *Worked with NP-FM50-type battery and AA batteries (presumably other kinds as well) *Light-weight *Dimmer has a nice range from low to high "beam" *On the FM-50 battery, we used at least an hour of the battery (of overall run time) and the light was still going strong. Conclusion: I'm not going to give up my Lowel/Bescor light/battery pack combo just yet. I will keep this LED light for now and use it with interview settings. I continued to use my old-faithful Lowel light this past weekend for a wedding I filmed. There was something about using my heavy light that made me feel comfortable and assured while shooting parts of the wedding reception this past weekend. I didn't mind using this LED for interviews because I knew that if something happened I could start over. I don't know that I'm ready to commit to just using this LED alone for wedding videography. If you purchase this light, be sure you have a "plan B" both in battery and in a second light just in case. The light did produce plenty of light for interview situations in a dark reception-like room at night. The intensity of the light seemed to closely match the light produced by my Lowel on-camera light. I hope you find this helpful. This light just does not have the feel of a solid, "primary" light source for the professional or semi-professional videographer in my opinion. (Others may disagree.)

Amazing value and good quality
For the price, the NEEWER (where in the world did they get that name??) CN-160 LED video light is quite a bargain. You could pay ten times as much for a similar light and still achieve only similar results. It's made of what seems to be a fairly high quality plastic that should resist impacts and dissipate heat readily. Is it bright? In a word, "yes". It's near room-filling power (maybe a 10'X10' room) is quite impressive. If you'd like a better idea of its capabilities, another reviewer posted a pretty good video that demonstrates the power. I do a lot of on-the-go work and the size/weight/power really fill the need of getting through airports/customs/carrying to different sites. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but I appreciate the "TEST" button with four different LED's that does a pretty accurate job of telling you what kind of juice you've got left in your battery/batteries. By the way, I recommend the Sony F550 battery which fits perfectly, is rechargeable, and probably saves space/weight. The on/off switch also performs double-duty as the dimmer switch and it has a satisfying "click" as well as the right amount of resistance while turning either way. The shoe mount has an adjustable swivel base with a built-in metal screw mount so that you don't have to fool with an adapter - nice. Although it is quite functional, it seems that the mount may be the weak point of the light since it is primarily made of plastic (a different kind than the light enclosure). Metal would have been a much better/safer choice. If it was knocked or torqued hard enough (either during use or transport), I would have concerns that it might crack or break. That being said, it is also not necessarily fragile either. It would be a bonus if this thing came with some sort of protective carrying case. But I'm guessing that, if it were of good quality, it might bump the price beyond budget level. As it is, sans case, it allows the opportunity for the light to be purchased very inexpensively and gives the buyer the opportunity to improvise for a case. That stated, I have found what I consider to be an almost perfect solution for carrying/protection/storage: the Newswear "Small Press Pouch" which you can also find here on Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/Newswear-Small-Press-Padded-Black/dp/B000C81ZMC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1366930235&sr=8-1&keywords=newswear+small+press+pouch). It's almost as if the pouch had been designed to hold this light and the accompanying filters. I can't begin to say how pleased I am by it. I now feel completely secure just chucking this thing in my backpack or suitcase and heading for the great unknown. I recommend the NEEWER CN-160 for anyone who is on a shoestring budget (and perhaps even beyond) and needs a reliable and effective light source for their active, on-the-go lifestyle.

NOT TO GOOD TO BE TRUTH
Here's a doctor's prescription you won't regret provided you understand going in that the NEEWER® CN-160 160PCS LED Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel is high performance in plastic housing, reasonably durable for the price. One should not expect more than one is willing to spend. However you will receive more then you spend in this instance. This is a prescription for happiness my friend. :>) Scroll that dimming switch from dim to full brightness! (<: PROS: PRICE Light Weight Accepts Multitude of batteries (Alkaline/NiMH AA, and Lithium Ion Camcorder Batteries) Long battery life High brightness output Articulated hot-shoe mount Includes three filters with vinyl case Test button and four LEDs (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%)on rear for showing battery level Lost or damaged -- only out $40 bucks not $300 plus -- easily replaceable CONS: In MY opinion NONE Some may be off put by plastic housing No AC to DC adapter or connection Cannot daisy chain lights together Open back exposes type of battery in use. (necessary when using larger lithium ion batteries) One could use a black index card to conceal batteries that don't protrude out back. No carrying/storage case for light itself I had searched specifically looking for LED lighting for my DSLR and Camcorders . . . you are probably aware too that these type of lights are outrageously expensive. This tech geek is not a pro photographer/videographer by any stretch (more like an intermitted, much less than a pro). I just could not justify spending as much or more on lighting compared to camera cost no more that what it would be used. I landed on amazon.com sporting NEEWER® CN-160 160PCS LED Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel. First thought, how good could it possibly be at this price? Even 3 filters with vinyl case, a battery adapter were included -- additionally -- it sported ability to use widely available Alkaline/NiMH AA batteries, as well as some standard camcorder lithium ion batteries. Best of all I had camcorder batteries specified in its product listing. The hot-shoe for attaching to camera or tripod is somewhat durable. Mine has not broken and should it ever I would acquire an universal type hot-shoe adapter for the light. The hot-shoe mount is articulated forward and backward, a little stiff but stays in position you place it. The versatility was unbelievable it had to be to good to be truth -- but it was not -- it was absolutely one of the best buying decisions I have every made for hobby photography period. After over a year and half of use (I have used this more than I ever dreamed I would) the leds are still as bright as the day I received NEEWER® CN-160 160PCS LED Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel. By the way, I like using it on full brightness more times and I just threw the Duracell Alkaline Batteries I installed in April 2012. Imagine the battery life I will receive from a six hour camcorder lithium ion battery. I have not experimented with the filters, they are ridged plastic. I have only used the diffuser filter to soften the lighting output. This is not my first NEEWER product and quality has been very good across the board given they items are reasonably priced. Yes this light may be a tad thicker than some of the competitors high valued items. However, you are getting far more than the price your paying. The plastic casing is strong but not indestructible, reasonable care should ensure a myriad of years of enjoyable use. No case comes with the light for storage which was fine for me as I have two high impact cases for my cameras and camcorders. Removing some foam squares both lights with filters and battery adapters slipped right in. I love this NEEWER® CN-160 160PCS LED Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel so much that I ended up acquiring a second one. The first one was tested at my nephew's high school graduation. We arrived early but still ended up halfway up on the bleachers. Giving a good distance of over thirty feet. My first thought was when they cut lights to focus on the stage my video footage would be dark and grainy. When graduating class begin to enter I turn my inexpensive high power baby on, it flooded the gymnasium in a spread of my focus. Plethora of students shaded their faces (ones walking directly in my direction to their sets), I had to dim light down so I was not continually blinding them. A couple of other people shooting with their camcorders thank me for the lighting assistance. They were just going to stow their camcorders away because everything was to dark to see. Until my light came on and their cameras were satisfied also. Once I experienced what this NEEWER® CN-160 160PCS LED Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel could stream out in lumens. There was no hesitation on my part to order another. I very rarely give any product a five star rating although this is one of those rare instances. This comes with a high recommendation from me for any budding photographer/videographer, anyone on a budget, or someone that just cannot justify the premium cost of a pro lighting unit. At time of my purchase this NEEWER® CN-160 160PCS LED Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel was $40.36 -- at today's price of $35 there is no reason not to pick one or two up. I would not be surprised if some professionals don't grab up a few . . . you leave one of these behind or its damaged no huge loss. I may grab a few more myself as there are plethora more uses besides the obvious. SIGNATURE: I bought both NEEWER® CN-160 160PCS LED Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel with my own money. Great light for the money, great light in general, works with more than 5 different batteries
I just received the light in the mail, so I have not field tested it for longevity. However, out of the box it seems great. A light like this for $40 is unbelievable. I took it into my pitch-dark basement to see just how bright it was. It illuminated the entire basement with ease. It was far brighter than any of the super power headlamps that I use professionally as an archaeologist in caves. The light is a little cool, but does come with an orange filter that warms it up a bit. Here's another benefit. The advertisement states that it can use five different types of batteries. I bought this hoping that it could also use another battery type not listed (perhaps with pin modification). I had recently acquired a bunch of free Sony lithium video camera batteries and took a gamble that they would be compatible with this light. The moment of truth came today and they worked like a charm with no modification. They popped right into the light. The batteries are the big chunky high powered Sony Lithium NP-QM71D. I'm going to test the battery life and report back. Right now I am quite pleased with the light. I will order a couple more for my cave work. I'll have these caves lit up like Fenway Park. Update: I took three of these units to help light up some of my research caves in Mexico back in March. They worked incredibly! For the money these lights just can't be beat. And the amount of time the batteries last is amazing. On full blast I can get two to three hours. On medium power you can get five or more hours. On a lower setting (still useful for many applications) you can get tens of hours, literally! On my flight home one of the switches much have engaged and turned the unit on. When I went to unpack my stuff the next NIGHT I opened the bag and the unit was still dimly lit. I have since utilized these units in a photo lab, to light up houses for night photography, as flood lights for a night dig, to light my house during the Superstorm Sandy power outage, etc. They have so many uses and are SO bright for so little money. With reusable batteries they last quite a while. They will knock your socks off. I can't tell you how many "WOWs" I have gotten from people when they see what these things can do. I highly recommend these units.

Ow, My Eyes
This thing is surprisingly bright. From a meter away, ISO 100, it gives a 2.8 split. The reason I give this a rating lower than 5 is because the color temp is off. It is too blue, slightly green. This is no surprise considering the price. It is also why one of the gels that comes with it is -green. But I feel that the gels that they give are too strong for cine work. The -green only needs to be a 1/4 maybe 1/2, not a full. Now skin tone is too red; a nice gesture at least. Another con of the unit is that it is obviously more bright in the center of the light and then there is an uneven vignette to the rest. This is not specific to this 160 unit, I also ordered a 126 led unit and have the same issue. You can easily fix this by reflecting the light or putting on some black foil, but built in barn doors would be a practical addition. A rather peculiar thing is that to my eyes the 126 led light seems brighter. When doing a light check with my light meter, a nice sekonic digital one, it was reading half a stop brighter than the 160 light one. That's funny, more lights equal less power. I did a test right up on the light source and the f-stop at 100 iso was 16.3 for both of them. I assume for some reason the drop off is faster on the 160 unit. The 160 led unit does however have a greater spread, and considering the vignette this is an advantage because more area is flatly lit. This might seem like a lot of complaints, but for the price this is expected and still worth purchasing. The Arri version of these lights, although it comes with mounts and chargers and external dimmers, costs 2,000 dollars because you don't need -green and the light is even. I can live with these. I have already done an initial shoot with these lights out in broad daylight, and it really does fill the shadows well. If you are lacking a bounce board, this is good for a one man team. Another good use would be for a doc camera- but I would suggest picking up an umbrella mount or something stronger to diffuse it because as is the shadows are too harsh on the face. If you do narrative work, I suggest getting a suction cup mount, like the Panavise 809, to mount on windows. This light could fake daylight or accentuate a shadowed window as long as you have the right gel on there.

For the money, it's hard to beat for a bright, dimmable light source
My expectation for this light was pretty low, so imagine my surprise the first time I turned it on! I was not prepared for the super-bright light that came from this light head. With the diffuser lens on, it threw a nice, soft pattern and was able to flood our front living room with light with all of the normal room lights off. It's really difficult to find anything seriously negative about this light. At this price point, you can afford to take a chance with low expectations. PROS: * It's affordable. * Can take several different battery types, including AA batteries. * Battery test button with four bright red LEDs that tell how much charge is left in your power source. * Because it's an LED light, when you dim it, the color temperature won't change. * LEDs require less power to drive. * For its size, it really delivers an intense light. * Adjustable head angle. * Comes with two color correction filters and a diffuser lens. * Lightweight. * Operates cool to the touch. CONS: * Depending on the power source used (size of battery) and the type of camera you are using, the light head may become heavy enough to make your camera unwieldy. This is especially true with a battery like the Sony NPF-970. * Some people may find the filters and diffuser difficult to slide out from the front of the camera. * The hot shoe mount, like the rest of the housing, is made of plastic. The light head doesn't bounce or feel flimsy with the largest battery on it, but this seems to be the most likely spot for any likelihood of breakage. * No instructions. This might be helpful for those who are inexperienced. * The battery compartment is a bit of a mystery until you realize that the only way to use a camera battery or AA batteries is to take the battery door off first, install the battery/batteries, then put the door back in place. This is a minor inconvenience, but it actually makes sense when you realize the tight fit of the battery door around an installed battery helps keep camera batteries from disconnecting. I have been a professional videographer for almost 30 years now and I truly wish I would have had this light in my kit instead of the bulky, hot halogen lights I carried for years. I am not a fan of the "sun gun" top light, but in tight spaces it's a great thing to have when you need a little fill. The kit came with two color correction filters and a diffuser, plus a battery adapter to use camera batteries other than Sony NPs. The back of the light head also has a convenient battery test button with four bright LED indicators that can tell you how much juice is left in your power source. If you turn your light on and press the battery test button, you will see the LEDs change as intensity is changed. There is a door on the back of the light head that can be removed, allowing you to use AA batteries instead of rechargeable camera batteries. Removing the door also allows you to install the battery adapter. There are no instructions that come with this light, but the one thing you will discover if you are using Sony NP batteries is that you need to remove that battery door in order to get the battery correctly snapped in place. There is a rectangular cutout that will allow a camera battery to stick out beyond the back of the light housing when larger batteries like the NPF-770 and 970 are used. The first battery I placed in it was a Sony NPF-970, which is a pretty thick battery, but it's not the thickness of the battery that makes it impossible to install with the door on; it's the length. Remove the battery door, install your battery, then place the battery door back in position. You'll see that the rectangular cutout in the battery door fits snugly around camera batteries that stick out beyond the housing, and that should help keep the batteries firmly in place without the risk of bumping them loose. Some people have found the adjustable base to be wonky and perhaps prone to breaking. It's plastic, but fairly rigid. In extreme cold this might become brittle, but that's easy to overcome if you have little faith in the design. At least one other reviewer managed to mount the hot shoe directly to the light head. You will lose your ability to adjust your light head angle, but you could get an articulated arm with a hot shoe mount that should allow you to regain adjustability if you attempt this tweak. There are too many things to like about this light to shoot it down and you shouldn't be disappointed for what you get from this package.

very good product - recommending - five stars!
Bought it about a month ago together with quite a lot of pro video gear. I was worrying that as it was advertised as shipping from UK it would take forever to get it into Canada. I was wrong! It came on a third or fourth day I think to my great surprise - winning hands down even with local suppliers. These guys are super express shippers! A small package but all in perfect brand new condition. After feeding the lamp with set of alkaline batteries I was pleased with its performance. It is not a huge lamp but glows like a 300W traditional lamp which is totally sufficient for video. Built in dimmer makes life of the operator a pleasure. This lamp has a cold shoe mount with pivoting head, as well as a thread to mount it on a tripod, which I also tried to get a bit more angle light effect. The lamp performs superbly after several weeks and is very efficient After some two hours of constant usage I saw only the first of five LED indicators to go down... this tells me that we are good for at least a full day of light on a single set of batteries. I also bought a set of two rechargeable LI-Ion batteries for SONY camcorder NPF550 that are listed among several models of batteries this lamp can use. After charging them again a pleasure - all works the way it should. This lamp has proven to be very well designed, and also very well manufactured. I could find no flaw in this product. In fact I am so pleased with what I bought, that I am going to buy two more of them to have my portable affordable 3 light set. Also it might help some users with compact Cannon pro cameras like XA10, XA25, Vixia etc to know that this lamp fits perfectly well with an external shotgun microphone. As to the durability of LED I cannot say yet, but they seem to be of a proper standard - they have a professional look too. They look exactly the same as these used in much more expensive flat LED panels. Highly recommending this product.

Works like it should.
Looks like a winner. Does not feel all that durable but it seems to do the job it's built for. Haven't yet tested it in the field but just around the house. Only issue I'm finding is that when you turn the dial to FULL, the light shuts off and the test battery starts flashing. Could be due to some batteries bought from a cheap shop might have been on the shelf a little too long.

Update! Purchase Has Arrived...
After posting a question about this device previously, I decided to take the plunge and buy. And I was glad I did, as I am delighted with it, so far. It arrived after 4 or 5 days and was well packaged, with everything described contained inside, including basic instructions. I found the light on assembly very light, which meant I wouldn't need heavy duty tripods. I inserted some basic AA rechargeable batteries - 6 in all - and turned the dimmer on to maximum, and was astonished to see the power of illumination! It was blinding, and as a rough guide, it could easily light up a small living room! However, I was expecting the brightness to diminish after 20 minutes or so, but 1 1/2 hours passed, and I couldn't believe it was still going strong! Even on reaching 2 1/2 hours, it still shone brightly, sitting proudly on top of my tripod. I never used a lux meter for accuracy but it appeared as bright, to the naked eye at least. Very impressive indeed! This product is well worth the money as it is well made, and although it won't put up with lots of abuse, out in the field for example, it should give any budding Steven Spielberg many hours of satisfation. An excellent key light, so much so, I am purchasing another two, so I can adequately light pieces to camera or any scene that may need some additional lighting, out in the field, as I will be making documentaries. For convenience I will be using Li-ion batteries in each light, because I would otherwise need 16 AA batteries for 3 lights! So whilst Li-ions are expensive initially, it is the sensible way to go, as I don't relish having to change so many AA's in my 3 lights, for by having to carry them around with me! The 'gels' that come with this product are of a sturdy plastic construction too, and slip snugly to the body of the light, and will last years - I just hope the light will, ha! I am off to experiment now, but it goes without saying, I am thrilled and can recommend the CN 160 LED light to any iPhone/Android/camcorder/ DSLR hobbyist. (Message to seller: After such a positive review from my self, I look forward to receiving two free lights promptly. Cheers! - Well, I can only try, lol!)

Sehr gut, extrem hell
Artikel kam schnell und gut verpackt an. Über den Blitzschuh lässt sich die Lampe bequem auf die Kamera schrauben. Es ist ein Batteriefach für 6 AA-Batterien bzw. Akkus vorhanden, was die Lampe recht schwer macht.
