Little House on the Prairie the Complete Series (Deluxe Remastered Edition)

This was a large chunk of money to throw down at once, but it's a great investment: 48 discs that will provide hundreds of hours of good, wholesome, all-ages entertainment. This set is nicely packaged in a handsome exterior box with two plastic "books" inside containing the 48 discs, each disc held securely on an individual "page." It will take months before I know if each disc plays well, but so far the quality, both sound and picture, has not been disappointing. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great. Got it to go with my collection

first the price - while this price was the cheapest i could find anywhere, i still think it's a little high. that being said, it's still a beautiful box-set and the remastering of the episodes is amazing! (i will say that i'm using sonys best 4k bluray player that does a great job of unscaling and watching the episodes on sonys newest flagship tv - the A90J) still, the dvd remasters are extremely well done and it's like watching the show for the first time - the episodes have a clarity and richness that i've never seen before. i also like how each season is packed in the "little house" box. the dvds themselves, while they don't snap into each season pack are still secure and snug so they don't "rattle around" while in storage. another HUGE feature (for me) is that each season has the episodes listed on the case. inside, each dvd has the episodes on it listed on each dvd - VERY NICE. so, overall, (while a little over-priced) this is a fantastic box set.

Nice family movie and for any fan of Little House

No problems with the discs, thru the second set now, watching the first set now and will update if any problems arise with those. Decent so far. Only problem was the box the plastic cases were in was rounded on the corners from being shipped in a BAG. the plastic cases are decent with how the discs are packaged, but the plastic is cheap and the cases break easily. Mine were broken out of the bag. I went thru TWO sets of box sets from another seller, and those DVDs were messed up badly, but this set is decent so far.

Great collection!! Arrived on time and I am excited to watch these! I grew up watching the Ingalls and I was thrilled to find the collection at a reasonable price.

Just to tell you on the day that I got them my package was outside while my house was getting broke into at the time right now things are so much safer I feel safe now then what I was I am just really glad that I got these I have to say I am so hooked on these that I am now on Season 7 wow I love these they make you laugh & cry I guess my son likes watching them too I have been really glad to have found these I will watch them over & over I can't get enough of these I don't have a bad thing to say I love them I grew up with Little House I seen the ones I couldn't remember to the ones I do remember it is crazy but I have to say thanks I love these

Received in perfect condition. Not even a crumpled corner, which is a huge step up from other DVDs I've ordered lately that were shipped and sold by Amazon. Most DVDs I've ordered lately had to be returned. Some titles 4-5 times before receiving a copy that was playable. So, you can imagine my hesitation ordering this one, given some of the reviews about quality. I managed to get it at a deep discount, so I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised (and very relieved) that it arrived in pristine condition. The discs were mostly in perfect condition. The only thing I'm a bit confused about is how one of the discs in the middle of S7 had fingerprints on it. It was just that one, and they were in a spot I never touch. But, they were all playable and free from scratches and scuffs. It helps that the discs aren't stacked or overlapping. Each disc has an individual spot. The only thing I might change is how the cases have to be pulled out from the top of the box. It can be difficult to get the cases out sometimes. You have to lift the box and tip it over so the case slides out. But, that's a minimal issue. Overall, the set I received was in perfect condition and in complete working order. I also got it for close to half price, so be patient.

very disappointed in this product. You can't watch it with a DVD streamer and not in the Netherlands. Definitely not recommended!
