Puzzle Box with Hidden Compartments, Secret Lock and Key

Bought this box for my granddaughters and they love them. They love the puzzle to open the box and the secret compartment. It comes with 2 keys. I had a problem with 1 key so I reached out to the seller. They were so helpful and quick to respond. They provided me with a new box. If you are looking for a unique gift this is the one. ( my grandson also loved the puzzle to open the box).

UPDATE: My original review is below, but I am updating my review to reflect their excellent customer service and replacement. The original box sent to me was bad, but they sent a replacement that was better and had the advertised features. I have to note that the key is pretty thin and without knowledge of how the lock works, the key will become twisted/bent. The compartment behind the mirror works but the mirror is loose and the compartment isn't easy to retrieve items from. But overall a much better puzzle box than the original one I received. 5 stars because even with the faults, the customer service was outstanding and I would purchase from them again just because of that. OLD 1-star review: Terrible quality. Lock didn’t work. Didn’t include the mirror puzzle as described. The key is very thin aluminum and bends when trying to unlocked the mechanism. AVOID!!!

I got this for a buried treasure hunt for my 7yo and 5yo sons while out camping. It was definitely over the head of my 5yo but my 7yo absolutely loved it and showed it to everyone afterward. It's definitely great for kids in that age range and semi-interesting for adults as well. The box itself is nice and the two main compartments are pretty well-constructed and look good. My issues are that the key and locking mechanism are very flimsy, as well as the mirror included in the main compartment and a couple of the smaller wooden pieces that move as part of the puzzle box. I think it keeps this from being a truly great product but it is still pretty good--just may not hold up to repeated usage over time, which is a little disappointing given the price point.

The lock works very cleverly and is an integral part of the puzzle.. to open the box the key must be turned to the right not to the left, and once you understand this everything works perfectly! the key feels sturdy and the mechanism operates smoothly without needing to force anything the overall functionality of the box is excellent and the puzzle is well designed! highly recommended

The craftsmanship and attention to detail on this box are really nice. Nice puzzle for beginners. It’s a really nice gift.

Love the box and its steps. Got it opened finally once with the key. Haven’t been able to open it again with the key after a lot of tries. Key is thin and don’t want to break it. Can’t put my grandson’s gift card inside for Christmas because I can’t get the lock portion open.

Beautiful wooden box and well crafted!

I bought four of these boxes as gifts. When they came I was immediately aware that one was opened even without moving any puzzle pieces. It was broken. I then informed the company which sent another one; although that one came quickly the company sent it quick. But the corner of that box was broken also. They tried to glue it back together. But it just looks second hand. These are gifts! Then lastly today, I sat down to check the other three. To which all of these have a flaw and are not worthy to be given away as gifts. None of these worked properly. Four of these were sent broken. I would not recommend!
