I love this adding machine! Very easy to see the numbers on the screen and on the paper! Some adding machines have a colored plastic over the paper and it makes it hard to read the numbers on the paper, this one has a clear cover, so REAL easy to read. The buttons are the perfect size, and responsive. It keeps up with me with no problem. Easy to program the tax buttons. Instructions are included. This is a pretty lightweight adding machine and yet full sized. Fits on my desk perfectly, doesn't move around and I'm able to use it without looking at my fingers. Perfect!

We use these calculators in our accounting office. They are not bulky, don't take up too much desk space, and last several years. The display is easy to read with 100% accuracy.

Lesser quality than prior ones of the model
I have use Sharp EL-1197PIII calculator for 30 some years. The one I received is not like any I have bought before. It sounds different and frankly its annoying. It sounds tinny and cheap! I use my calculator in my small accounting business and they get a daily work out. I don't understand why this would be? Is this dealer selling a copycat calculator? I am confused! Or did Sharp cheapen this machine? I just know I am not happy with this one.

Good Heavy Duty Printer Calculator
Initially, I received a defective unit, on replacement received a good unit fully functional. Locally bought a 50W Voltage converter 220V to 120V to use this as power input. Satisfied with the finish and quality of the product.
