I have continued to wear my older Champion as it suits me in this weather right now. I wear it for bicycling.. in fact, my champion has a slight turtle neck collar helping keep me warm. I'm sure these new running workout tops will be Just Fine, and I love the way they look. In time, I will know I will wear them (maybe in combination with the champion shirt as the weather gets colder). UPDATE: this cooler day, adding my Miqieer shirt on top of my Champion one, was JUST PERFECT. It shielded me from the colder air without causing me to sweat. I think I've found the perfect combination of layers for bicycling in the high 40's temperature.
