fowong Door Draft Stopper 38", Weighted Under Door Gap Filler, Grey

This item has really solved a problem for us. Our grandson pulled the weather stripping out from under one of our French doors and a bit of cold air comes in on cold evenings. Rather than take the doors down for repairs, we bought this item and it lays nicely in front of the door, blending perfectly with our decor. It's weighted nicely to stay put and is an attractive and useful solution. I recommend it for several uses like cold coming in beneath a door, or even sound or light. It's prettier than I expected. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it for others.

I just received this draft stopper (cold snake) today, and wow, what a difference it makes. We are in the middle of a frigid cold spell in Wisconsin, and this one is so much better than the old one I had at the base of the front door in my home. It is thicker and wider and looks nicer too. I did not use the sticky tape because we go in and out of this door daily, but I must say that I am really impressed with the quality and effectiveness of this product. I cannot comment on whether or not it works as a noise stopper, but I definitely recommend it for the cold drafts along the bottom of the door!

Has held up great all winter. It stops drafts, as it’s really thick. Heavy enough to stay put when you place it. I wish it were easier to clean, as you can’t really throw it in the wash when it gets dirty from dragging on the floor. That’s the only reason for 4 stars! Very good quality

Works great for doors or the bottom of windows to stop drafts. I ordered these because I had both during the winter of 2024-2025 when we had those arctic single digit temperatures and 20-30mph winds. While it comes with additional supplies to 'stick' it, you don't need to use these unless you want it 'permanently' in place (like for your door, don't see why anyone would do this with a window). The end ropes are strong and stitched in well, so you can hang it up on something if you need without worry of it tearing itself. Good quality. Works as intended. Blends in well with most weather blocking sections of doors (Metal/black rubber area). Good deal. I use them during the summer to keep heat out and AC in as well. Baddabing.

Keeps the draft out

I like this thing. I think it does help a little with sound but I still keep my white noise machine on and the fans in my room because I love to drown out noise. The color is inoffensive and matches my walls. nice and neutral. I didn’t realize it came with Velcro which is very convenient. The length is right but be sure to measure yours first. Not as heavy as I imagined it would be.

Good quality. Looks to last a long time.

Does it work? Maybe. Does it make me feel better? Kind of. Will I be returning it? No. I’m telling myself this helps. I got the larger one thinking it would fit an apartment patio door width - as you can see, it does not. I’m hoping I’ll be able to repurpose this for a bedroom door seal in the near future. Measure your door before you buy, don’t assume (like I did) that it will fit.
