Very easy to use. Be careful if you push too hard it applies to much.

The pen is easy to use, covers old grout completely and dries quickly. So far, after being mopped several times, the durability is great! My only complaint is that I ordered the grey grout pen, however the final color has a bluish tint.

This works ok.Easy to wipe off mistakes right away. The tip on wide was too wide for my grout lines (even though they are pretty wide. The tip kept falling out and off, which was annoyting and was the reason for three stars. If they could fix that problem it would be better. It is still better than seeing dirty grout lines that you are unable to get looking clean. The grey color is almost black (very charcoal colored).

Works! Colors the grout, easy to use, maintains color. Really an improvement for our bathroom.

The item was pretty much what I expected. It works like a large paint pen— so anyone familiar (from marking auto parts or whatnot) will understand this pen. The paint applied easily, however as others noted, you will definitely get it on your tile. I bought this as a temporary solution for an entryway in our new house— the tiles are acceptable but the brown yellow grout that looked like urine were not ok by anyone’s standards. Wiping it up with a damp rag works, but took most of the product off from the grout, no matter how carefully I approached the subject, trying my hardest to not touch the grout lines. After an hour I got the 35 square foot area all cleaned up and stood back... and my wife and I agreed that it looked like crap. It just looked so half-assed. The color was splotchy, looked messy and inconsistent ( I’m a pretty meticulous person, kinda OCD, so I assure it wasn’t lack of care in application or clean up. I just renovated 2 bedrooms, and completely redid a bathroom and new tile all around.) So I decided to take off the grout paint and TileX to soak about 5 minutes, and the grout paint wiped up easily, returning the grout to the original urine stained color. I learned two things with this project: 1. The paint pen was “meh” at best, and left me disappointed with the subpar results 2. I know for certain I need to replace the tile in my entryway because this “holdover/ temporary” solution didn’t work.

This product definitely did its job. It took my old stained grout and made it look new for next to nothing. For that I am very happy, and I would suggest it. Application was 4/5 for ease. I had to keep small pieces of paper towels to wipe along the edges of the grout. Just do one line at a time and tidy as you go. It was difficult to use around edges of the room so I used q-tips which made it much easier. Two things to consider; 1. The pen is fatter than it looks. See the picture of me holding it. If I had bought the smaller one I would have spent less time wiping it off the tiles are I went. 2. Think long and hard about the color you choose. The grey was a bit heavier looking than I expected and doesn’t match my tile well as my tile has tan-ish streaks in it. It’s no fault of the manufacturer. Just something to consider.

The house I bought was flipped and they spilled stain from the door onto my bathroom grout. When we bought the house I thought the staining was dirt or even urine. When I discovered it was stain, and I tried unsuccessfully to remove it, I thought we would have to chisel out the old rout and redo. This was PERFECT! For a bathroom it took no time at all, other than to dry, but it was worth getting on the floor to do. It's been 6 months of wear, tear and mopping and this is still covering those awful stains! It doesn't look like marker or even paint, it looks like the grout was mixed and applied the color of the marker. Thank you for saving me lots of $$ and time!!

GROUT PEN GRIS pluma grande (20 mm) Cuando lo recibí, creí que me había equivocado con la decisión porque las baldosas de la cocina, donde pensaba utilizarlo, no tienen las juntas tan anchas. Pero lo que creía que había sido un error, al final, ha sido un acierto. Para darlo en las juntas más estrechas, coloqué, a ambos lados de las juntas, cintas de carrocero que se utilizan en pintura, con la distancia entre ella que corresponde al de las baldosas. De esta manera lo pude aplicar sin importar el ancho de la punta de 20 mm. Despues de esperar a que se secara, quité las cintas y el resultado fue muy bueno. En aquellas zonas en las que el gris sobrepasa las juntas, se pueden quitar fácilmente con una lija suave. Este procedimiento tiene el pequeño inconveniente que se desperdicia más pintura, pero con las ventajas que es más rápido de dar y el resultado es mejor. Esto lo digo porque también compre el mismo producto, pero con la punta de 7 mm. Sin poner las cintas de carrocero, el resultado fue peor e incluso la punta se deteriora antes. Cosa, que con la punta de 20 mm no ocurre por ser de goma espuma. Con respecto a la duración, creo que con el tiempo tendré que hacer pequeños retoques Y esto se puede hacer mejor con la punta de 7 mm.

Great product which was very easy to use. I used mine on floor tiles and it covered the area fantastic with very little surplus to clean (if any). Great product.

Worked perfectly, but is a very wide nib, was going to change the colour of the (too) dark grey grout that I ended up with, fortunately after trying a small section, the boss said she was ok with the darker colour, so the rest is unused, but the product is good. I've used the white restorer in another bathroom and would recommend this stuff.

Wir haben ein Haus modernisiert, aber den alten Steinfußboden im Eingangsbereich fanden wir- bis auf die nicht mehr sauber zu bekommenden Fugen- so schön, dass wir ihn nicht erneuerten. Trotzdem störten mich diese Fugen sehr und ich legte zuerst einen Läufer darüber, was ja auch nicht Sinn der Sache sein kann. Dann kam Fugenfarbe aus dem Baumarkt zum Einsatz, welche ich mit dem Pinsel auftrug, was auch gut klappte. Nur leider verschwand die Farbe schon beim ersten Test in Sachen Putzen ;-(, was sehr ärgerlich war(allein schon wegen der Zeit, die man investierte). Deshalb gab ich dem ganzen Unterfangen noch eine einzige Chance: nämlich diesen Stift hier und hurra! Hat bestens funktioniert! Wenn man erst mal den Bogen raus hat, wie man den Stift vom Winkel her am besten hält, damit er satt aufträgt, aber das eben nur in den Fugen, dann klappt es wunderbar. Allerdings muss ich dazu sagen, dass Leute, die es nicht so mit der Feinmotorik haben, vielleicht doch eher auf den Stift der Firma mit der feineren Spitze ausweichen. Und der Putztest mit Wasser und etwas Putzmittel fiel dieses Mal auch positiv aus. Wie sich die Fugenfarbe verhält, wenn eben richtig oft geputzt wurde, wird die Zeit zeigen. Aber der Preis und der Aufwand in Relation mit dem guten Ergebnis werden dann eben bedeuten: das Ganze wird einfach wiederholt(wenn das Ganze z.B. 2 Jahre lang so bleibt, würde ich es trotzdem als Erfolg verbuchen und dann eben nachbessern- aber es kann ja auch gut sein, dass das Ergebnis wirklich permanent ist.)Sollte die Farbe nach nur mehrmaligem Putzen innerhalb kurzer Zeit wieder verschwinden, werde ich aber natürlich die Rezension hier korrigieren.
