good
I live in the basement and use the Huawei Pro 2 routerI used to put the router adjacent to the window, which is at ground level, in order to get the best signal, and it was between 2 to 3 for the 4G and 5GAfter I bought this antenna and I also bought connectors, I replaced the internal antenna of the router and disconnected them completely, and connected this antenna to the motherboard of the router. I got a full signal, and the speed and ping are excellent.Knowing that I wrote a previous post saying that it did not improve anything for me, and I think that the problem was with the connectors that I bought in the past, and they were bad

Expensive
I like Proxicast. I bought this specifically because I’ve seen some of their team on HAM podcasts and they know their stuff. I like this antenna, and it has a decent spec on the NanoVNA, the gain is basically there (-.05 under what’s listed). But I mist say I wasn’t entirely impressed with the materials (it’s also very tiny). The cord, case, and mount are all thin and feel cheap. I’m not sure why it’s labeled vandal proof, a child could rip this out (the mount its tin can thin). Also, I have a knockoff from China that preformed almost identically but at 1/4th the cost. Again, it’s just an omni antenna so I’m not expecting the world, I just assumed I’d get more buying from a north american company, and in this instance it felt the same. I enjoy paying more for high quality stuff that’ll last

Proxicast 2x2 MIMO Omni-Directional Screw Mount Antenna
I use a Netgear MR1100 Mobile Hotspot Router. In some areas of poor cellular reception, I wanted an external antenna. The Proxicast ANT-121-M22 appears to be well made and it does improve cellular reception. My only issue is that the hardware nut used to secure the screw mount did not meet my expectation. My thought is that the supplied nut and lockwasher are cut to facilitate installation over the antenna cable. I replaced the supplied nut and lockwasher with a standard M12x1.0 nut. See the attached photo. Which nut would you choose to secure the antenna to a moving vehicle?

Works great! Need companion connectors for most applications.
I used to get disconnected while playing video games in my semi truck over the road. Since I've upgraded to this new antenna my hotspot has not disconnected me once! I haven't mounted it, it's just laying on some cloth in an overhead storage compartment.I haven't been back to Georgia yet which is where the worst 4g-5g reception I've ever had is. So I don't know if it can mitigate the poor reception there. But I have high hopes given the performance increase I have thus far seen.See pic for the type of assembly that you may need to do. It's not for the faint of heart or those with fumbling fingers.
