For those who have used both, how does this compare to the Clover mini-iron w/ different tips?

This is a late answer, but for anyone else who is wondering... I have both and use both for different things. This dritz one heats up much, much faster than the clover, but it's also a bit bulkier. The clover one can get into much smaller areas which is more helpful to me when making purses. For any projects that aren't too difficult to get to, the dritz one is my go to as it's so much quicker to heat up. Any real difficult areas to get to, I wait for the clover to heat up. I also use the clover for things like heat cutting with the hot razor attachment and for molding paper or fabric flowers with the ball attachment. For safety, this one seems to be a little safer as the clover has more hot areas that are exposed. But let's face it, they're irons and you have to use caution with both of them. Hope this helps!

Here in the US the standard is 110V with a couple of breakers set up with 220 for the dryer and such. You can tell a 220 because they're the ones with the big plug with tines that come out in a triangle. I believe the EU uses 220. Adapters have to be used when you jump the pond.

How big is the iron face and what does it mean by adjustable?

I just measured the face of the iron to be sure. It is 1 inch wide at the widest point. It is 2 1/2 inches long and the point is very small. There are two adjustments, one is the wire bar that holds it up (so the face does not burn whatever it is sitting on) the other is the heat adjustment. This iron heats fast and if you keep a spray bottle of water nearby to add some steam it works great. It shuts off automatically as well. I have never burned myself on this iron.

disappointing

Whilst the iron looks exactly what i am looking for, it works on 110V and has a US plug. Not what one would expect from product ordered from UK web site. I will be sadly returning it as it will not work in the UK. What a waste of time as no details in the description suggested this.

Esta mini plancha es una gozada, además tiene cuatro niveles de temperatura y plancha genial, pues tiene una potencia muy buena para las labores de patchwork, quilting, ect. Aunque tiene el voltaje de America y he tenido que comprar un transformador de voltaje de 220 V. a 110 V., consume muy poco, en resumen genial.

Great tiny iron, real tool

I chose between this and the Clover brand tiny iron; this one has a MUCH better design, you don’t risk burning yourself. The long handle makes this easy to use on tricky tiny fabric items. Proper well made smooth heat plate, has four temperature settings, which is great. Heats up enough to iron Cotten and linen etc, I use a spray bottle to help with the pressing, as there is no steam function. Otherwise it’s a real tiny iron, works just like a large one.

Totally good product. Com isn’t. Not a lot of heat to bu n your fingers. Light weight and you can have it at your craft table. I use an ironing wool mat and it’s just right. No leaking lightweight
