Absolutely the best! I handle it with respect for its quality. I shred the two pound block when I receive it and store it in the freezer in quart and pint sized reusable containers moving one to the refrigerator when the previous is gone. I love using unadulterated cheese that will mold if not handled carefully. No chemicals to harm my body. And the flavor of this cheese is, of course, impeccable! I am a very fussy and gifted cook of Sicilian extraction.

Some thing MUST come from Italy. All foods should come from the nation with the highest quality food standards in earth, that’s Italy! Oh, and F Parmesana Regiano, Pecorino Romano is; -Goat’s milk cheeses so it’s healthier -Saltier and more flavorful -Fir dishes or charcuterie, it’s amazing!

I haven't actually tried this shipment yet, as just got it today. There was a problem with late delivery but after I contacted the seller, I received the cheese today, and although it had been on a delivery truck for 6 days, it looks perfect. Good packaging probably saved it and cool weather. But I have bought this cheese before through amazon but a different seller, and this type of cheese is delicious. I get great compliments everytime I serve this with pasta and I love to sprinkle it generously on my salads. Pecorino / Romano is so much better than parmasian, and the imported is so much better than anything I can buy on the grocery store shelves. I will be a committed customer with this company when I need good cheese.

My all time favorite cheese! Unfortunately when this item arrived, the ice packs were defrosted and squishy, albeit still cool, even in the Styrofoam container. I don't know if this is because the vendor used USPS and the delivery was delayed or some other reason. Fortunately the weather was cool and the cheese was cool, though the packaging was starting to sweat. I was afraid when I opened it that it would not be good, however, when I tasted it it seemed fine and I immediately cut the block into smaller portions, wrapped appropriately and put in the freezer for future use. If the package had been delivered one day later, or the weather had been warmer, I believe the cheese would have been ruined. The vendor should rethink its shipping options in warm/hot weather.

Arrived fresh and as described. There is no comparison to the quality of this Romano compared to what is found in a grocery store. By far, superior to local products. Thank you!
