Loop-Loc Safety Cover Patch Kit - Green Mesh

Worked great to repair rips in pool cover. Matched well. Adhered well.

I previously used these patches to repair some small holes and tears in my Loop Loc pool cover. They adhere well, and they lasted a good number of years but they eventually came off. They are subject to tremendous stress when the cover sinks from the weight of snow, and of course it is in inclement weather, so I didn't consider their failure at this point to be unexpected. I'm actually surprised how long they lasted. The lifespan they gave me was acceptable, so I purchased new ones. This vendor has them priced right, and shipping was super fast. They went out for delivery the same afternoon that I ordered them on Amazon. Thats five stars in my book!

these patches worked really well. We had a four inch gash in our pool cover (a Yard Guard brand) and used these to fix them. HOWEVER, the surface must be properly prepared in order for the to stick correctly. A tree branch was the cause of our rip, so the surrounding surface fabric was more stretched out from the rest of the cover. We used a heat gun, for about a minute, to soften the fabric (before adhering) and used the heat gun (after application) to soften the glue and help adhering. We have had no problems with the patch coming loose, both on the surface and underneath, since we applied the patch on both sides. The heat gun application method is definitely worth that extra step.

Easy to use and matches the Loop-Loc pool cover perfectly. I fitted 2 patches on a cold day so to ensure the surface was dry I first warmed the area with a hair dryer (as recommended on the instructions). One of the 2 holes I was repairing was quite small so I cut a patch in half and rounded off the corners before rolling the patch with a wallpaper roller to ensure it was stuck very well. For what you get the patches could be considered expensive but compared to the cost of a new pool cover they are worth the expense!

I used this to repair tears in my Loop-Lock winter cover. I matched the lines on the patches to the lines on the cover and unless the sun hits it a certain way, the patches are invisible so it looks professional. The adhesion is amazing. They’re all still perfect after three mo the of my dogs and their friends playing and bouncing on the cover. Excellent product!

Before these patches I had to cut a piece of material and use airplane glue on it and the cover. Most the patches I made never held very wel. This is the way to go! While it's costly, it's far less expensive than bringing the whole cove to someone else to do.

Very easy to use. Cut one patch in half, will use other half when necessary. I have a 12 year old loop lock cover. At some point will have to replace.
