My project never stood a chance
5/5 - these shoes are great. They really are true to size and fit perfectly based on street shoe size. For those new to climbing, it is supposed to be pretty snug. It will be a little uncomfortable (but not painful) for first few climbs. It should start breaking in after a few climbs and settle snug but not uncomfortably tight. These are my first legit shoes after starting climbing a few months ago. I have been surviving off of rentals which worked ok to get started but recently when trying to join some friends on slab I realized the rentals jut would not cut it. These shoes are very grippy, and completely changed my experience on slab, and made a notable difference in my performance when climbing vertical/overhangs. Very happy with this purchase and believe these are great intermediate shoes and reasonably priced for what you get.

Great all around shoe
This is an excellent all around shoe. The shoe is somewhat stretchy, which makes them very comfortable. Sizing is key though, must be tight enough. The toe is not very aggressive, but it’s very tactile, so I trust my foot placement. Maybe this means the rubber is thin, and I may wear these out quickly, but it’s worth it for the precision. I have an aggressive pair of shoes for bouldering, but these perform so well, that I almost always stick with these and enjoy the comfort.

I like them but the sizing is all over the place. Not good to buy online.

Perfect shoe if you’re sick of rentals
I’m fairly new to climbing, confidently doing v2 boulders and 5.9s on top rope. I ordered 5 climbing shoes in hopes that one of them would be a keeper, and these were the winners. They are a great shoe for beginners and provide a nice introduction to climbing footwear. They’re about as comfortable as a climbing shoe can get while still being effective. They’re not aggressive, not much downward curve if any. I am a street size 13, ordered these in a 13.5 and they’re snug without wiggle room BUT not too tight where it’s extremely uncomfortable. They’re sturdy on footholds and have nice grip. I notice a significant improvement in these compared to rental shoes. A little pricey so I’m hoping they last a while. For sizing I’d recommend going +0.5 your street size for a comfortably snug fit. +0 may feel very tight, but I can tell these will break in and loosen up after a few sessions so same size as street shoes could be what you want but expect them to be very tight.

Great shoe for all around climbing not the best choice for hardcore bouldering tho
Wonderful shoe for someone just starting out you can expect this shoe to perform well on slabs and other vertical terrain however it is not an aggressive shoe so overhangs and steeper climbs performance will suffer slightly but all and all wonderful shoe comfortable great fit and outstanding rubber!

Pick the size proportional to your largest foot
I had to return the first pair I ordered because they are a little small. It took a little longer than expected to receive the refund for the first pair, but when it came I ordered a second pair. My son is just getting into rock climbing, and loves these. Great quality and works good.

Too small
Bought the same show two years ago, these seemed a whole size too small.

Great all around shoe
Great all around shoe! I used to have to go down almost a 1 / 1.5 size in my climbing shoes, these were the first shoes that fit right, meaning close to my street shoe size (don't go down more then half of your street shoe size they will be too tight). Also not sure if my climbing footwork has improved dramatically but these lasted almost a year with bi-weekly gym use. Making them the longest lasting climbing shoe I have ever owned. My previous favorite climbing shoe was the Evolv Pontas I, these are a good replacement.

guter Alleounder
