We are a family that lives in Crocs. These usually last us a couple of years unless the kids outgrow them. The quality is amazing. I do miss getting my crocs in the box; however, that’s not a deal breaker for me

After hearing about Crocs for many years, I decided to try them after an operation for a neuroma on my foot. So I pulled the trigger and got a pair. After donning my new gems we took a road trip. Since this was my first venture out in public wearing them, I was a little unsure of what to expect, and feeling a bit less manly, as I was walking out of a gas station a HUGE guy (that looked like Grizzly Adams) was walking in wearing a pair of Crocs. We made eye contact and I said "Real men wear Crocs". He laughed and said they are the most comfortable driving shoes he has ever worn. Tips: Wear them a few hours a day in the house for a few days before venturing out for a day trip. If they still feel tight, heat them up with a blow dryer or clothes dyer (about 10 mins on high). Put them on with a pair or two of thick socks and walk around in them while they cool off. Repeat if still too tight. Too loose? Use the same method but let them cool off before wearing them. With a little experimentation, you can dial them in to fit perfectly. If the little nubs on the foot bed bug you, wear them with socks until they wear down. If you're going to wear them with socks (even thin ones), you might want to go one size larger. Glad I got them!

Typical crocs. They are comfortable to wear and easy to put on. Watch out after you've had them for some time as they soles become quite slippery.

This is my second pair of this same model. After a few years of occasional use indoor and out, my first pair have worn out on the soles to the point of letting water in through the bottom. They also began slipping more easily on slick surfaces. I almost cracked my head open a few times lately on the wet floor in the garage and next to the dog's water bowl in the kitchen. This prompted me to buy another pair with some new tread. The camo pattern also wears off after time. Other than that, they are as comfortable as the first day I got them and have not torn. These clogs are very practical to wear almost anywhere, within reason. I wouldn't use them in conditions where great foot support is needed. They slip easily on an off which is great if you are constantly going in and out of the house or if your hands are full. The strap can be moved all the way forward or worn around the ankle for extra support. They clean up in a snap with soap and water and are ready to wear again as soon as you dry them off. I've read of people putting them in the dishwasher, but i wouldn't recommend that if you want to preserve the camo pattern. Despite the tiny nubs on the foot-bed, your bare feet will slide around inside if they are wet because they have a loose fit and smooth surface. Lots of holes for ventilation to keep your feet comfortable with or without socks. Only downside to all the holes is that little stones, sticks, and bits of grass sometimes get inside. No big deal because the clogs are easily removed to allow you to shake out any unwanted debris. I love slipping into these after a long day of wearing heavy hunting boots. They are roomy enough to accommodate a thick pair of thermal hunting socks and they hardly weigh anything. Had the soles lasted longer and not been so slippery and the camo pattern not worn off I would have given these a five star. Crocs makes another model, the Bistro Realtree clog with slip-resistant tread, but they are more expensive, have potential issues with the soles peeling off, have no ventilation holes, and are not as roomy as the classic fit. Something for you to consider though.
