Ninja Kitchen System 1200 (BL700)

So to start off I never do reviews and this time I had to do it. And no no one payed me to do this. When unwrapping be careful of the blades!!!!! First off let me say that I got the blender with the mind of juicing, smoothies and blending for I'm a diabetic and so is my mom. I recently found out my sugar went up and that scared me a lot and so I said no more I need to change how I eat. So I brought the ninja with in mind to not go and get snacks and eat out, but to make a smoothie, with fruit and veggies and let me tell ya after mixing my chicken salad (used the mixer) my smoothie, and some water I had the best lunch ever and I was full till dinner and I had energy. Clean up was quick and easy and I was done in 20 min. When your mixing be aware that you must build upward, meaning if you were making a smoothie with veggies, put soft spinach at the bottom, kale, carrots and frozen fruit, then yogurt, (feel free to leave out something) . Now it took like five minutes but when it was done I had a smooth smoothie. For the lemon orange chicken salad, layer chicken and carrots, some lemon juice about a teaspoon, and a teaspoon of orange juice, a spoon full of mayo, or advicado you can put two for creamy and let me tell you it was amazing with toast. This is a keeper, and I can't wait to update you all.

My husband purchased the Ninja Blender for me for my birthday from Amazon.com. This blender is awesome. I previously tried two other blenders and both would only blend my frozen fruits at the bottom of the blender at best. I was so disappointed and took both blender's back to the store and almost gave up. That's when I opened my Ninja blender on the morning of my birthday and was so excited but apprehensive. This blender is a solid, safe blender that can make a beautiful frozen drink. It blends the top and bottom ingredients at the same time. You should make sure you add some liquid in with your ingredients, for best results. I use frozen blueberries, strawberries and mango or other kind of fruit to make a healthy frozen drink. I love the safety latch on this blender. If you have tried other blender's and have been disappointed, I highly recommend this blender for wonderful results. This blender also will make a deliciously smooth pina colada which my friends and family have really enjoyed.Do be very careful of all the blades, there are many and they are sharp, but that is what makes it perform so well.Also, Amazon.com has never let us down, and so far have had great success ordering from them.Thank you!LindaHamilton, Ohio

I like the large container because it DOES crush ice as the ad said but if you are making something small it throws a large amount of stuff to the top which forces you to stop and scrape down the sides in order to get all the ice crushed and to completely mix the ingredients. For daily use, it is agnoying to use.I like the small container for that reason only... it is small. But it is terrible for making smoothies. It does NOT crush ice unless you stop at least twice to stir the ingredients and let it run a long time. If you are not using ice, then it mixes quite well. This was very disappointing since the only reason I wanted this was to make smoothies every morning. My old cheap blender from Walmart crushed ice better than this one. The blender paddle insert works very well.The other reviews are dead on.... it is very loud. My neighbor (house next door) can hear me use it every morning. I feel sorry for people using this in an apartment complex.Considering the pros vs cons it is over priced.

I have had this for about a week now and I have been using it a lot.. I have to say that it's good, in fact the best I have had but not as good as I was expecting. It crushes ice yes but not into "snow" how it claims. you can still feel the small beads of ice. so far I have only gotten 1 bigger chunck in my smoothie. One problem I have is that this machine takes too long to crush ice when you have milk in there.. so mabe you need to add the milk after the ice is crushed because it will be half foam before all your ice is crushed. I have not used it to chop yet but I will make pico de gallo soon and will update. I will also make something so I can use the dough attachment. The clean up is very very easy! You just pull out the blades rinse them and rinse the bowls and you are done. You dont really need to scrub these because really, all they need is a rinse most of the time. The presentation is very nice. It looks very well made and doesn't feel cheap to me. The lids lock and have not leaked on me at all. Both lids have a little lid to pour so you do not need to take the whole lid off to pour your drink. The lids also have a handle that pops up so you can pull the lids off easy, not peel the lids off like other blenders. I dont recommend putting these in the dishwaher because A they are easy to clean and B they could make your lid fit weird and leak, even though its dish washer safe. Another thing I don't like about these is they are not dual voltage. I live in Europe and like to get things that are dual voltage.It is loud like you would expect, but overall I don't regret my buy and have been enjoying my new blender! I got my shipping free and it got her VERY fastUpdate: I made pico de gallo and pulsed it like it said until it was chopped and all I got was salsa. So I am sad about that. But It makes amazing margaritas :)
