This lotion is EVERYTHING! At the ripe old age of 30, I've started noticing fine lines reproducing like bunnies under my eyes and over my cheek bones. I decided I needed something more gentle to remove my stubborn eye make up so I didn't have to rub and tug at the most delicate areas of skin on my face. In the past I've shied away from make up removers, even those marketed at oil-free because they tend to feel greasy and leave a residue on my already oily, acne prone skin. This lotion however checks all the boxes. It's smooth and gentle on my eyes, requires little to no harsh rubbing, leaves no slimy residue, and doesn't cause breakouts. It's so gentle, in fact, that I can open my eyes when the product is still on my face and am faced with no excruciating burning or irritation in my eyes. Also, it's so effective at removing my eye make up that I often smooth the excess over the rest of my face and let it melt away my foundation/concealer/contour as well. Just a heads up, you are going to want to use a nice soft wash cloth in conjunction with this product, however, because water alone isn't going to rinse this away. Again, you don't have to rub with the cloth, just gently wipe away the product and be amazed at how make-up free and hydrated your face is afterwards!

O.K. Let me start by saying I have extremely sensitive skin. My eyes are even,more sensitive than the rest of my sensitive skin. A great portion of new things I try,dor,me eyes ends up getting thrown or returned right away because of allergic reaction that could last 1-3 days. I found a great eye makeup remover about 10 years ago that I loved. Several months ago it was discontinued and I was really worried that I would have a difficult time finding a replacement. I tried aa couple of "all natural" products and another liquidy remover. I was pretty allergic to one and I did not like the watery consistency of the other one. I started a big search and finally found that Neutrogena had a lotion-like eye makeup remover!! I had no idea as I use a ton of Neutrogena products but had never seen this particular one. I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I waited to write a review until I had used it multiple times. I feel so lucky to have found this product! It's excellent. The consistency is great, it doesn't take a ton to remove a good amount of makeup and most important to me, it is extremely gentle. My eyes feel great after I use it and I haven't had even the slightest bit of irritation since beginning to use. If you have extremely sensitive eyes and like a thicker product to remove eye makeup, I would seriously give this one a try!!

I have been looking for a good eye makeup remover for months. I have used all the liquid products and even the micellar products, but always felt that they are too thin to actually remove the eye makeup without more effort than I would like. I've also tried to makeup remover cloths alone (but I end up rubbing quite a while on my eyes and working too hard to get off the mascara); and microfiber cloths that only require water, and while they may be okay for face makeup, you still have to tug on your eyelids to get the eye makeup off, so those failed, too. With this tube of remover cream, I use a small amount (probably pea-sized) for each eye, and I do work it into my eyelashes for about 20 seconds, then finish with a makeup remover cloth, and the mascara comes right off. It is very creamy and moisturizing, and tho' it does sting a little, it's not as much as other eye makeup remover products. I am glad I found this and will continue to use it. You should definitely try it if you're not happy with other products!

Like you, I really rely on these reviews to help me choose a product. I wanted makeup remover to go with the microfiber clothes I had purchased (can't remove eye make up on their own). I was tired of the makeup remover wipes that dry out my skin. I squeeze some of this out onto the cloth, rub it around a bit, and then wipe my eyes. It takes off my eye shadow, liner, and NOT waterproof mascara just fine with little effort. My water resistant eye liner is a little tougher but can still come off. I've been playing around with different quantities but so far it doesn't seem to take much. I don't use water proof mascara so can't say how that works. I have very sensitive skin and eyes and this has not irritated me at all. I do keep my eyes closed and wipe again with a clean wet section of my cloth before opening them. A little pricey for my taste - but I'll see how long it lasts.

This product came just in time. I had a wedding on the day I received it so it was perfect timing to have my new eye makeup remover (hint says right on package you can use on your face too). So set it out to use that night when I got home. Result: I loved it. I am a big fan of Neutrogena already. When you use this-you massage the lotion on your closed eyes. It is very lightweight with a very light natural smell-almost reminded me of fresh grass. I massaged it in and my eye make up came right off (I had on shadow, mascara and some liner). There was no need to rinse after that as it was extremely light weight and did lay heavy on my skin. It smoothed and softened the skin around my eyes as well. Like I said I love Neutrogena products and they did not disappoint here. I would recommend this to anyone and would absolutely purchase again once this bottle is done!

This stuff is the BEST. I don't like the oil-based make-up removers, or even those that are "oil-free" because in some way they always seem to make my make-up run under my eye once I apply eye-liner or mascara. I have used this lotion for years but it is getting more difficult to find, so thank goodness I can find it at Amazon!! This works just as well as any of the oil-based make-up removers without the mess. This lotion is just as hydrating, and at least I don't have to worry about it hanging around on my eyes after the fact. The only thing I would say is that if you use an eye-liner that is waterproof and is very difficult to remove, this product may only remove 95% of it. (I can sometimes still see the line on my upper lid.) However, I use my eye-liner from Physician's formula on most days, which stays put, and this removes that product completely, leaving no residue behind at all. I love this product!!!

I was looking for an eye makeup remover that would not sting my eyes. I had read a review that mentioned that this product might be what I was looking for. Unfortunately, this was not the one. I apply a pea-sized amount and wipe it off with a cotton pad. Unfortunately, I find that something of the lotion still remains no matter how long I wipe at my eyes and I have to immediately wash the eye area because my lashes feel sticky and my eyes sting. Depending on what eyeliner I was using, it did or did not remove the eyeliner well. Either that or my dark circles are too dark... It also took several applications to remove the waterproof mascara. In short, I was a bit disappointed by the purchase.

I don’t often give five-star reviews. My socks have to be knocked off for that. Listen, this is a new holy grail product for me and it gets five stars! It took off all my caked on eye makeup with a small pea-sized amount per eye and wiped off with a tissue. I had on heavy dark eye shadow and three coats of mascara, and it’s all gone. None of that filmy mess under my eyes, it’s all gone. I’m kicking myself for not taking a picture. I did get a little in one eye that burned a little bit, but I expected much worse, and it went away after a few seconds without rinsing. Otherwise, my eyes are not oily, not dry, and without traces of makeup that need to be cleaned up. (This is so lazy...) I didn’t even wash my face. Used wipes on the rest of my face, smeared on a little lotion, I’m good to go! My skin is happy, and I am happy!

super si lo recomiendo, se necesita poca cantidad para remover el maquillaje de los ojos, quizá del tamaño de un chícharo. No se mezcla bien con el agua, uso los dedos secos y retiro con un pañuelo de tela para desmaquillar, y después lavo los ojos con agua y jabón. Si arde un poco si entra al ojo, pero nada grave

I'm an eye makeup removed PAD addict so when a friend of mine swore by this product, I was skeptical. Let me start off by saying that I was pleased with the price and delivery time. Seller recommended. On the other hand, the product is just so-so. It does what it says, removes eye makeup without drying. I found it to be quite messy, though, as you have to rub it around your eyes for quite a time before everything is removed. I also found it left a film over my eyes so after I had cleaned them, my vision was blurry. I tried to rectify this by being meticulously careful in my use so as not to get any IN my eyes but it seems unavoidable. Having lotion-blurred vision for 10 minutes after removing my makeup does not sit well with me and it surely can't be good for my eyes. I'll stick to a nice clean eye makeup removed pad. My favorite so far is from Simple.

Not quite as good as the Olay eye makeup remover cream but as they have discontinued that for no reason, this is the next best thing. A whole lot better than all the oily removers that now seem to be the norm.
