Lasko Fan
Lasko FanI have had this fan for three years now, and I run it almost every single day. I live in Fresno, California and reach the triple digits five out of 12 months. I run it the other seven months as well. But this fan is amazing, absolutely amazing. It’s quiet and the three air settings offer perfect air on demand with the convenient remote control, which works from across the room. I like that I can center the air on myself while I watch TV or read. This is not gonna handle a large room or a room with lots of people. It will move the air around, but it’s really shining when used to focus on a couple of people in a room. Or a child’s room or playroom or adult room for sleeping, It’s brilliant for that.

Basic and durable
This is our second one as the last one still works smoothly after many years. So we got exactly the same one. It is not only sleek, but also quiet with good and cool air circulation. No fancy app-control and other functions m. Basic and sturdy.

Exceptional Fan!!
This fan holds up well. I purchased my first one over 6 years ago and it just recently stopped working. It’s sturdy and quiet and cools the room nicely. I don’t normally write reviews, but this one needed it. I’m pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone.

A Side-by-Side Comparison of Lasko, Holmes, and Sunter Tower Fans
The Lasko 42" Wind Curve (wih ionizer) is a very good fan and is powerful enough for 20 x 20 foot room. The tall height works well in a bedroom where one might need to feel the breeze a bit higher while laying on a high mattress. You can also adjust the top portion of the vent up or down for your needs. The remote is handy for just such an occasion as well. The Lasko was very quiet despite its powerful breeze. The base is sturdy and I have experienced no rattling.I compared the Lasko fan to the Holmes 32" Oscillating Tower Fan and there was no comparison. The Holmes fan was too short to generate a breeze above my bed where I needed it. The power of the fan was also extremely weak in general--especially since it was being advertised as a whole house fan. Essentially, Holme's most powerful breeze was equivalent to the lowest setting on the Lasko. The interface was confusing. And there also was no remote. The Holmes base is sturdy and I experienced no rattling.I also compared the Lasko to the Sunter 40" Tower Fan (2 Pack Combo with a 13" Personal Fan). While I preferred the look of the Lasko (the silver color made it more versatile for both dark and light color themes), the truth is, of all three, the Sunter was the most powerful--though maybe only a step above. The 40" height was still high enough to reach over the bed where I needed it. Its top portion of the vent is not adjustable up-and-down like the Lasko--but most fans don't have that feature. The Sunter was fairly quiet, but not as quiet as the Lasko. The remote appears chintzier than the Lasko's but it turns out Sunter's remote range is stronger than the Lasko's. The Sunter base is sturdy and I experienced no rattling. However, I did experience vibration and rattling with its bonus personal 13" fan that came with it.Of all three fans, the Lasko was the easiest to assemble. I felt the Lasko was the most attractively versatile with its silver finish. Both the Lasko and Sunter have an easy interface to understand. Both were sturdy and did not rattle. The Lasko has the quietest breeze, with the Sunter a close quiet second. However, the Sunter offered the strongest breeze, with Lasko being a close second. Both were good for 20 x 20' rooms. The Lasko offers three speed settings; the Sunter offers four speed settings. Both offer timers. The Lasko offers an ionizer feature which is nice; however, the Sunter offers an interesting evening breeze feature. (The evening breeze feature tapers off the breeze to the next lowest level every half an hour as you drift off to sleep--VERY nice.)Finally, [at the time of this review] the Lasko costs $56.52 on Amazon; while the Sunter costs $39.99 at Costco (or $44.32 on Amazon). The $16 higher price for the Lasko dramatically altered my star rating for the product down to a 4-star. And since the Sunter is fairly comparable (with a bonus fan) at a dramatically cheaper price, I am posting a 5-star for the Sunter as a best-buy.

I have four of these fans.
Love this fan so much I bought three more. The remote is so handy but if you don’t need it, just hook it to the back of the fan. Air went out at work and I was one of the few that brought in a tower fan. It was on for 9 hours for four day and did not falter once. While the rest of the office was 88 degrees, I was very comfortable. I’ve had the first fan for over 10 years and while it’s a little loud, runs great. It’s used everyday in our bathroom to circulate the air for no less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend this fan.

Great “Workhorse” fan compared to others
We have two of these, use them 24/7 a few months a year. Reasonably quiet and create a nice breeze. Oscillates nicely. (We also have two of these smaller 36 inch Lasko towers, nice but seem to be noisier when oscillating so don’t use that feature on those.) These bigger towers seem to work much better, not just more air but oscillates without extra noise. The shorter ones are nice these larger ones are workhorses for us!

Great fan, beautiful and functional.
What you need to know-Easy to set up, airflow is top notch, the remote allows for easy adjustments from bed, and the quality seems pretty darn good. It has been a while since I have had to buy a fan and while it was pricier than others, the wood grain and slim tower allow for airflow without being an eyesore. I like the feature of adjustable time and rotation.

If you’re looking for a fan with great airflow… you found it 😍
Love this fan! I actually repurchased it in 2022 since I gave my other one to my grandma I loved it so much. Anytime I’m in bed, this fan is on. When I’m hot, I go sit in front of it. I find it quiet although it does make a little bit of sound, but I never find it to be something that bothers me. Amazing airflow, I can go from hot to freezing in just a few minutes. Where I live it gets to be up to 45 degrees Celsius in the summer and while I have air conditioning I still use my fan. Worth the money. I’m seeing some reviews that are having missing pieces and broken pieces, that’s not the norm. I love this fan with all my heart 😂😂😂 1000/10 recommend.
