We were looking for a toy box for our son, but I didn't want to buy one of those character ones you can find in stores because they are just so tiny. My son has a lot of bigger toys (remote control firetruck, dump trucks, dinosaurs, stuffed animals, etc) that just wouldn't fit in those tiny things. I found this one and fell in love because of the rounded top which allows for some things to stick out a little but it would still close. I was kind of hesitant because of other reviews, but I am so happy with this purchase! Everything fit together perfectly! There were no missing parts, and I put the whole thing together by myself (mom, not dad) in less than 20 minutes. It's very sturdy, my 2 1/2 year old son climbs on it all the time to get into his bed. The only part that might not be too sturdy is the bottom on the inside, so I don't let him climb in it for fear it will break. I love the hinge on it to prevent it from closing and for the price you really can't beat the size or quality! Love it!

The packaging was very secure. I was surprised at how light the box was. There was a strong chemical smell when the box was first opened. I let it air out on the back porch overnight. No smell since. Super easy to put together. I ordered a personalized gold label from Hobby Lobby to attach to the back as it was a birthday gift for my grandson. The label had to be attached using glue. I used gorilla glue and the paint from the toy chest started to come off. I had to be sure not to move the label around while centering it so as not to smudge the paint too much. I was very happy to discover that the assembled toy chest fit into the back seat of my Ford Fiesta (not the biggest car going!) with room to spare! It holds all of the grandbabies toys and looks great in the living room. I am happy with this purchase and am considering a second one for my house to hold spare blankets.

Easy to assemble, has no slam hinges, and a space to protect little fingers. So much storage I was able to free an entire dresser of toys. I have 3 kids from 2-5 and they run things hard but it's been months with this chest and it still looks so sleek. Also sturdy enough to withstand jumping on the lid and inhabitant the children as well as the toys 🥴 its really paid for itself at this point, I recomended it everyone and will repurchase if anything ever happens to it.

I bought this "treasure chest" for my son's bedroom toys. It's a really great size for the end of the bed, holds lots of stuff. The wood is actually pretty solid, top is very nice and overall it looks great. However, I have a few concerns that prevent me from loving it. Anytime I am not 100% happy with a purchase but consider keeping it anyway, I base the decision to keep on one thing, Does the price of the product compared to competetors make the issues I have not a big deal. In this case I will keep it based on what I paid, if it was over $100 I would be returning it. 1) The bottom piece is not solid and rather thin. This really could have been done better for the price, although not cardboard it is very thin and can imagine a kid trying to sitting in the chest and damaging the bottom. 2) The biggest issue I have is the hardware, bottom line the hindges that secure the top are not great. This toy box will be opened and closed 1000's of times, I suspect this might not last me through all of his childhood. 3) The easy close hinge that protects it from slamming shut does it's job, but If I open the top too quickly it does not stay open all the way, sometimes if you just swing it open the weight pushes it closed half way. Not a huge deal but again if the hardware was stronger this would be a great purchase.

This thing came packaged very well! It took maybe 15min for my hubby to pop it together and it's nice and sturdy. My 9month old absolutely LOVES it! She crawls up to it every day & opens the lid on her own& looks in. It helped teach her how to stand on her own within a week! We keep it packed full of all of her toys so although she can't reach the bottom she can still pull things out to play with. It truely looks like a treasure chest and to her it is! One thing I really love about it are the nice smooth sides & panels. I used some left over wall stickers (happi tree) from her nursery to decorate the panels & even put some on the inside of the lid. It's so cute and easy to decorate anyway you want to match your kids room, or even just leave it like it is,it's cute. The thing I love the most is that when she opens it, even a tiny bit, the lid stays in place & there is a small gap so it won't shut on her tiny fingers.

This is a nice little toy chest that could also be used for linens or other storage. For the price, this functions well and is pretty sturdy. I like that it has hardware for slow close assistance to avoid pinched fingers also. The color is nice and the design aesthetics are very nice too with its curved lid. This hides toys really well and while is not very big, is great for holding small toys like action figures, Legos, balls, board games,etc. I have been very pleased with this purchase!

My husband has made an Army Man toy box for each of our four boys over the years. This year it was our 5 year old "baby's" turn. We had a hard time finding a good quality wooden box at a decent price and were excited to find this one. The old saying holds true, you get what you pay for. The wood is VERY thin on the sides and bottom, and the safety latch they give you isn't strong enough to hold the lid up. Unfortunately because the sides are so thin there is not even a place to put an extra safety latch. Our fingers are crossed that it will hold up to our rambunctious boys.

I love the toy box. Easy to put together myself. The only thing I don’t like it how it’s not very think on the bottom so it would break. The toy weight it’s fine but if my child tried to climb inside like kids do it would probably break. Other then that I love it. My daughter is one and is opening and closing it easily herself and hasn’t hurt her fingers at all. Good safety.

Finish on the toy box is great. Personalized it ourselves with stencils and acrylic paint. Easy assembly for one adult. Great toy box for any kid!
