Towing Mirror Set 2 Piece Power Heated Memory Turn Signal Textured Manual Folding Puddle Light Compatible with 2003-2010 Ford Expedition 2003-2011 Lincoln Navigator

Bought a travel trailer and needed tow mirrors as the stock mirrors aren't quite large enough nor extend out far enough to adequately see along the side of the trailer. These mirrors however, are great! There are no instructions in the box that explains how to take your door panels off, so find some YouTube videos that show step by step how to do that for your truck and make sure you feel comfortable with the process before you make a purchase. I will say for my truck, it's was easy. Just be patient and take your time. Having a 2nd person to help is a plus. As for the mirrors themselves, they fit perfect. I did drill the 4th hole for added stability. The main mirrors are nice and large. The curved mirrors on the bottom 1/3 are great. They really let you see closer to the ground and have a wider field of view to the lanes next you. Excellent for lane changing in heavy traffic. The mirrors are attached to 2 posts that extend out from the door and are nice and tight and no slop. They are tight and solid. They telescope out about 4 inches for extra vision when towing a trailer. After I installed, I got on the interstate and drove 70mph and had just a tiny bit of vibration. Keep in mind these mirrors are large so there is a big surface that hits the wind, so having inly a tiny bit of vibration is actually really good. I doubt any mirror this size on any vehicle has absolutely no vibration at 70+ mph. I assume installing that 4th bolt post helped make these mirrors more sturdy. So I'd recommend drilling the hole with a metal bit a little larger than the post when you install. Its not required, but it was easy and the spot where you need to drill is easily identifyable on the door (if you have a truck similar to mine). The upper 2/3 of the mirrors are powered, the curved, wide angle mirrors at the bottom are not. I believe these are also heated, but I live in TX so I'd probably never use that capability. I think the mirrors are about 12lbs each. All said and done, I gave these mirrors 5 stars because the fitment is perfect for my truck, nice and sturdy, great field of view, and installation was easy thanks to the YT vid I found that guided me through it. Hope this review helps you in making your decision to purchase.

Installed these on a 2015 F150 Lariat. These were very easy to install as they bolt right on after taking the old mirror off. These really are plug and play when your truck already has the same features on the smaller mirrors. I had the 18 pin connector, so, did not need the adapter. Bolted it on, plugged in the connector, and all the features worked. Takes maybe 15 minutes to install each one. The smaller stock mirrors do not have the side marker lights, so, naturally, those will need to get wired up for them to work. These mirrors are quite heavy, so, seems like they are built well. I've seen some complaints that the upper mirrors vibrate or shake. I also have a 2016 F150 with stock towing mirrors from Ford and they do the same thing. Something you just have to get used to. It's really not a big deal. These mirrors are large, so, I think that's just gonna happen with a mirror that size. A very small price to pay for a huge difference in visibility. And for the price compared to what Ford charges, it's a no-brainer. These are half the cost and work just as well. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. ***Update after using these a couple days - the side marker lights DO work without the extra wiring, at least in my particular case. I didn't think they were working, but they are. Also wanted to add; a few of the ratings here knocked stars off for shipping damage. Don't let that reflect on the quality of the product. As long as they arrive undamaged, they are great mirrors.

These mirrors are great, they were an easy install on my 21 tundra. Matte finish, smoke lights. It was plug and play and worked great no rattle at high speeds.

Complaints about vibrations, while others say they had none. Hmmm. I almost bypassed this and ordered another brand. Those reviews complaining about vibrations made me pay particular attention when installing. When I finished tightening on the first "round," I went back to the first nut and checked...sure enough, as #2 & 3 tightened, #1 now had a little "slack," and it snugged down a bit more, so I continued... I went through 4 "rounds" until all 3 studs/nuts were finally fully tight. No vibration problems with mine. Is this the solution to the vibration problem others had? Maybe? Unfortunately, there is no torque spec in the instructions. I purposely used, and recommend, a 1/4"-drive socket wrench, not a 3/8", and choke-up on the handle a tad to help prevent over torquing and breaking the stud. Mine came with a plastic pin in the center of the mounting area on both mirrors, but my door didn't have the opening for it. It took some force, but I was able to remove the pin install the mirrors. The slide bars are very snug and it takes a little effort to slide the mirrors in and out. This is a positive since it holds the mirrors tight when extended. It would be nice if the whole thing was a little taller so the bottom mirror could be a little taller, but it's good enough, and the wide angle view in them is very welcomed. Mirrors are well protected in the box for shipping. I would recommend them. They fit perfectly and work well on our 2017 Crew Max.

Really nice mirrors - so not to be redundant I suggest seeing my video about the additional wiring that isn't addressed by the company instructions or YouTube video. Watch out, there are several installation videos for these mirrors on YouTube --- Use the Company's one! -- It's quite good but doesn't address the extra connected wire group. Printed instructions, with pictures, was in ONLY one of the two mirror boxes so look for it. They are somewhat adequate but should include a QR code so buyer could go directly to the YouTube Assembly Video and I see no way to register this product or contact the company for warranty information. Hence my only giving it 3-stars. It's a great product but the company doesn't back what they say when it comes to warranty and customer support! Hey Trail Ridge! How about adding a QR code for the assembly video because there are several YouTubers that address this installation and they are not you (or nearly as good) AND... You claim to Warranty your product(s) but HOW DO YOU WARRANTY YOUR PRODUCT? There is NO product registration on your website, you do NOT furnish a phone number, email address, or offer any way to contact your company/customer service that I could find. After 30-days Amazon won't connect to product support. So how does your customers get assistance or warranty service?

The mirrors are very nice for towing. The only problem I have with them is they are so hard to extend. I'm afraid I'm going to pull them off the truck. There is no way to lubricate them.

I couldn't be happier with these mirrors. I tow a 30' travel trailer with an Expedition EL and with these mirrors there are no blind spots at all. I could kick myself for not buying these 4 years ago when I first found them on Amazon. I got discouraged by the reviews that mentioned serious vibration. Some reviews called the vibration “dangerous”. This year I finally decided that perhaps I should pay more attention to the positive reviews as I found towing the RV with the stock mirrors was pretty dangerous in and of itself. And the strap on variety of tow mirrors are a pain to adjust and keep from moving. And they’re ugly. In my case there is so little vibration that it is barely noticeable. Yes, these mirrors are huge compared to the stock mirrors, so there may be a bit more vibration with all that weight and surface area, but it is certainly not at all disconcerting. These mirrors are built extremely solidly which makes the vibration very minimal. Not a problem at all, and I’m not really sure that they vibrate more than the stock mirrors. Perhaps the people who are having vibration issues are installing a different version on a different model vehicle that doesn’t support the mirrors as well? I don’t know, but I think it would be worthwhile when researching to filter the reviews to only those that are talking about the specific version of the mirror you need. In my case the TR-00047. Some reviews have mentioned wind noise with these mirrors. I hear absolutely no additional noise at any speed. Maybe because the Expedition is pretty well noise insulated, but again I notice nothing. They are bigger than you might be imagining but that’s why they are so effective at eliminating blind spots. And they look great! So good that yesterday a friend with an Expedition asked me for a link to buy them yesterday. And he doesn’t tow anything! He just loves the look. The version I purchased has the integrated turn signals as that is what the stock mirrors had. The stock mirrors used some internal trick to make them bright when looking at them from the outside but dim inside the cabin. These mirrors don’t have that feature, at least not to as great a degree as the originals. So as has been mentioned in other reviews, the turn signals are pretty bright at night from the driver’s perspective. But this is not nearly a big a deal as some of those reviews would lead you to believe. It isn’t anywhere near blinding or even annoying. It doesn’t bother me in the least. Installation took about a half hour after watching the installation video. I did this without help. Having a helper to hold the mirror up while getting the first nut on would have been nice, but accomplishing the task by my 69 year old self wasn’t a big deal at all.

First off the mirrors look fabulous and hard to tell from OEM. I installed the drivers side with no issue. But when I plugged in the two main plugs, I got nothing to work. My truck is a 2015 Ram Laramie Limited that came with standard size mirrors and had all the options like power fold, signal and puddle lamps, etc. So I assumed this would be plug and play. But no. I contacted Trail Ridge through their chat system and was told these will not work on trucks that came with factory power mirrors. Also the only tow mirrors they make that will work on my truck that came with chrome mirrors, is their black tow mirrors. It would be nice if they said that in the description or at least had instructions in the box. The only instructions were to make a non power fold truck into one with power folding. So I had to go through the process of returning that large fairly heavy box to my local UPS store. Now I'm stuck trying to find decent chrome power folding tow mirrors and looks like I will have to find good used ones if I want good quality that don't shake. Five stars for the quality of these, but knocked off two because of terrible description with no mention they will not work on trucks with factory folding mirrors.

Nice quality despite the compatibility thing saying it doesn't work on my truck ...it infact bolted on perfectly the only thing I question is the glass in the upper portion looks kinda like it could come out just from how the corners look compared to the plastic molding its set onto....overall though I love them so far!

Contrary to popular belief and numerous reviews…these will fit on a extended cab but involves significant modifying for them to fit…good quality mirrors would buy again

I am absolutely thrilled I ordered and received these mirrors. They work like advertised, are great quality and look great as well. I noticed a little bit of a vibration driving but nothing to be worried about, they are very sturdy. A friend, who is mechanically inclined, installed them for me and he had no problems at all doing so. The door panels and some covers needed to be removed for the installation but according to him everything was straight forward and instructions were clear. I am not a big fan of all the chrome so I might get the mirrors wrapped black. I am very happy with my purchase, everything works like it should 👍 Edit: Even at the Dealership at my last service appointment, the people dealing with my truck, were mentioning how great and good quality those mirrors are.

Installed this on my Nissan NV3500 & instantly learned what a mirror-induced panic disco looks like. The housing is solid, the mount is solid, my door is basically reinforced like a bank vault (I went full sound-deadening lunatic mode mass loaded vinyl, spray foam, emotional support prayers the works). And yet… The top main mirror glass? At idle, starts doing a full-body shimmy like it’s auditioning for a music video. At highway speed, It enters a level of vibration previously reserved for cheap motel beds and industrial paint shakers. If you look at it too hard, it shakes. Want to see what’s behind you? Too bad. You’re invited to a full-time mirror rave party where everything behind you looks like it’s made of jello and regret. Meanwhile the little lower convex blind spot mirror is sitting there like: “Bro… I’m literally fine. This is a you problem.” The issue is clearly the glass carrier + pivot tension spring. There’s so much slop in the mount that the mirror is basically a tuning fork glued to the side of a cargo van. If you ever wanted to know what motion sickness through your eyeballs feels like, congratulations you’ve found it. Pros: • Bolts on correctly • Technically Resembles a mirror Cons: • Functions like a hallucination generator • Top mirror vibrates so hard it should come with a strobe epilepsy warning • Rear visibility is more conceptual than useful If your aesthetic is “optical earthquake simulator”, this is your product. If you actually need to see other vehicles… maybe try K-Source or literally anything not possessed by the spirit of a caffeinated ferret. I wanted a mirror. I got a non-consensual visual rave. Would not recommend unless your goal is induced vertigo and disappointment.
