Will it clear a rear mounted spare tire on a C class rv?

GearDeck can be adjusted for up to 14 ¾ inches of installed clearance, measured from the hitch pin hole to the capsule. To verify if GearDeck will clear your spare tire, measure from your hitch pin hole to the rear of your spare tire. If the distance is than 14 ¾ inches, GearDeck will clear your spare tire!

On the back of my 5th wheel would there be enough room to install spare tire between and right behind geardeck 17

That would depend on the tire you are mounting and where your hitch is located in relation to your bumper. Measured from the hitch pin hole to the edge of the carrier you can get a maximum of 12in of clearance with the GearDeck. After that, you can use an extension to get more room if needed.

How easy is it to slide out loaded? Bearings? Weight capacity?

The GearDeck Cargo Carrier is simple to slide even when loaded using the dual tube system where the metal tubes slide into each other. These tubes are lubricated with waterproof wax to make sliding the carrier out fluid and easy.

Does the box have a lock for security?

The GearDeck does have a built-in location for a common padlock lock (user supplied) to be installed but does not include a lock in the box.
