My son wears a 5, will the 6-7 be too big?

It will fit, but the jacket did not last long. Ours ripped after wearing it just a few times. The material could be better.

Why does the have such an overpowering smell of rubber, vinyl or something its so strong no way any one could wear this. I got batman and umbrella.

The smell was really over powering at first. I also worried I may need to return it. But I aired it out in the garage for week and it seemed to have dissipated. You can always return it if it doesn’t work out for you. Amazon returns are super easy.
