Q: what is it used for and how much

I use this for making tapioca pudding and it is the best pudding ever. I use the recipe I got out of an old cookbook. You can Bing or Duck Duck Go recipes for tapioca pudding. Makes a very rich and creamy pudding. You also can use it to thicken things like sauces and gravies, but you will have to look that up.

Q: Where can i find the recipe for making it in a slow cooker ?

Tapioca Pudding (slow cooker)2 quarts whole milk (2% is fine)1 ½ cup sugar1 cup dry small pearl tapioca4 eggs1 tsp vanilla1. Combine milk and sugar in slow cooker. Stirring until sugar is dissolved as well as possible. Stir in tapioca.2. Cover and cook on high 3 hours3. In a small mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly. Beat in vanilla and 1 cup hot milk from cooker.4. Cover and cook on high 20 more minutes.5. Chill

Q: Can you make bubble tea with these pearls? Or is that a different kind? Curious :) thanks

They are different than the large black pearls commonly used in bubble tea. You might be able to find a recipe though.

I have had mini tapioca pearl bubble tea, and they serve them at my yogurt ice cream shop in mini too. On Bob's Red Mill website it says they can be used for the Bubble tea. But, I don't know. I'm going to try it though. It's much less expensive, then the mini boba pearls sold on this site (12 dollars for product, plus 12 dollars for shipping).

Makes great tapioca pudding

I bought tapioca pearls from an Asian store and it had an off taste and had to throw it out. I then looked on Amazon and bought the Bob's Red Mill brand. Made the same recipe and came out tasting as it should. My wife won't have me buy another brand again.

The product is good and works fine, but it was delivered with a tear in the bag so some of the pearls fell out during shipping :/
