Colour: I know it says deep gray but the pictures look black, is it an almost black colour or very much silver/grey?

Its not silver but more black like traditional leaded windows would look

Is it same colour on both sides

The back is the same colour, once the adhesive backing is peeled off, although rather less shiny

As i work with it, can i quickly take it off and reposition it? but later i guess there'd be absolutely no removing it if i've messed up?

I was able to reposition a few times when I got measurements wrong before finally getting it right. & then using the tool to mould. Position first & then use the tool provided to mould/ flatten into place.

Is the ‘lead’ the same colour on both sides? Was planning to put it on exterior so will see adhesive side internally

Yes it is the same colour both sides. We put it on inside and looks very effective from outside

Excellent product, v easy to use, looks like leading.

Very impressed..the tool that comes with it is great...the " template " is just one pattern ( diamonds) so not useful unless that's what u want to do...My window was quite small n narrow, and the 7.5 m only just was enough...but easy to cut and apply..an excellent product!

beware

the lead is ok,however the template supplied to assist placement was rubbish.The lines for square pattern were printed out of square to the paper edge ,this led to peeling off the lead and starting again.

Looks fantastic!!!!

Showing before and after.. but was quoted 3K for similar black doors. I used the lead to add the look that is so popular now. Has completely transformed my 25+ year doors. I found it easy to apply. Very happy!
