It is like muriatic acid without the dangers and little slower . It does leave a film that I've not mastered removal accept sanding away. Good stuff 👍

This saved me so much time because i'm not ready to spray a full epoxy on the metal yet and i've been working on the car in parts. My alternative option was to spray a 1k etch primer then sand it all back later before 2k epoxy primer. With this I was able to wipe it on and not worry about it rusting before i'm ready to epoxy primer it.

Got this for a 50s project car to remove some surface rust. Not only did it not take off any rust on my car, I tried it on a new piece of sheet metal that had very mild surface rust just from handling and sitting in my garage. It would not even take off the extremely mild rust on new metal! It will also stain anything it touches. I might as well of sprayed my car with oil. Followed the directions to a T. Waited the full 30 minutes. Don’t waste your money. Extremely disappointed as Eastwood usually has good products.

Seemed to remove light rust but way to expensive for what you get.

Tried it out on a customer's roof that had surface rust blistering from the paint, sprayed it on waited over night, wiped the residue off and sanded for primer, turned all the rust to inert black.
