The shoulder/chest strap I purchased fits very nicely onto my Echo SRM225 string trimmer. I bought it to ease the back and shoulder discomfort and due to the strain of holding the trimmer out in front of my body. The system uses a adjustable straps to allow the user to find the "sweet spot" for holding onto the trimmer. You can literally just let it hang on the harness because most all trimmers have a ring installed at the balance point of the tool. The harness has a built-in metal snap that attaches to the trimmer's ring. A very nice safety feature is that the trimmer can be instantly disconnected from the harness just by pulling on a prominent red strap that disconnects the metal snap. I've tested it and it works well. I can wholeheartedly recommend this harness.

This appears to be a quality product and at a discount price. I am just now using it and all in all it seems to be working fantastic. The adjustment straps seem to hold and bind tightly. I am using it with my stihl brand we’d eater with handlebars which is somewhat heavy. I have a large acreage to mow, so I’m carrying it for extended periods of time. Right now the harness meets all expectations.

Not very large. I'm a big guy and the straps don't go out enough for this to fit me properly. My oldest son, 6'3 and average build can wear it fine, but it isn't long enough for the weedeater to be low enough to use comfortably. My younger son, about 5'11 has an easier time with it. So....Definitely not a universal fit, but if you're on the shorter side this should be fine. It is very well padded and lightweight, though.

Came early. No instructions, not the sellerʻs fault...I guess itʻs how the manufacturer keeps costs low. Just expect to reference the sellerʻs pictures on this page to see how to orient the straps and clip. Adjustments took about 5 mins (Iʻm a 5ʻ6 and I had to pull all straps snug to accomodate a Stihl trimmer for the clip to set at my waist.)Overall it worked really well, and imho it is slightly more for your value than I expected. It was used in a wetland for about 400 hours before the strap broke. Used with a Stihl 240r. It may last you longer since mine was always wet due to the work environment and probably contributed to itʻs degrading

I am very pleased with the quality and wearing comfort of this harness. I do a lot of heavy brush cutting with my Huskvarna weed eater. I use the weed eater with a heavy steel brush cutting blade attached. I mostly cut down. Small trees and heavy briars with stem diameters of up to 1.5 inches in diameter. The terrain I work on is mostly hills and steep creek banks. With this harness I am able to work about 1 to 2 hours without significant fatigue.Highly recommend this particular unit over many other harnesses that I have used. It has an excellent hook which is secure. It also has a built-in instant quick release for safety purposes. Look no further!

bought this for my weed Wacker its well built and the padding is nice a little confusing to put it all togther but once you get it its easy to use and fits well

Fit my Sthil 421 thinning saw. Holds the weight well and comfortable to wear for hours

When I first received it I tried to adjust it before putting it on and it seems to be made for someone who is over 6' 5" tall. I am 5' 6" and I could not shortened the straps enough. I finally put it on and took the adjusting buckles right off. Then while wearing it, had my wife adjust the strap so that the hook was just above my belt level and we reinstalled the buckles. I would suggest you take a photo of how it goes on before removing it. I use it for an extended pole hedger and it works great and takes the weight easily when in between use. The shoulder straps are well padded and comfortable.
