I was skeptical at first ,but my blue heeler sheds like crazy . I was tired of sweeping all the dog hair off the hardwood floors every other day. When it arrived, I used it the same day on her. I noticed a difference in her coat and all the dead loose hair it got out was crazy. I've used it several more times since then. You can definitely tell a huge difference in her coat and the amount I have to sweep up off the floors. Very great product. Only regret I have is I wished you bought it sooner.

I’m very satisfied with this pet tool. My cat loves it too. He was always shedding hair. I couldn’t pet him without getting his hair all over me. I tried this tool on him and was thrilled that it took all his loose hair off. It also cut the under coat off and left his fur soft and smooth. Now I comb him every other day. He loves the grooming and purrs the whole time. I recommend this product for all people with thick furred pets.

This review is long overdue. I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this product. My 17 year old cat has long hair which is very wavy on his belly. He hates being brushed! For this reason he has gotten many knots in his fur even though I try to brush him every day. This pet grooming rake is amazing. So much better than the brush I was using. The shedding fur just came right off and the rake went pretty easily through the knots for the most part. I’m so happy with my purchase and would highly recommend.

The pet rake is well built, very sturdy, and the tines are solid. Is easy to grip, and does a great job of grabbing the undercoat. It doesn’t “detangle” per se, it just pulls the tangled fur out completely, This works at least as well, and maybe a bit better as pet rakes you find in pet stores in removing the undercoat. What I like are the two sizes of tines. Wider set on one side for initial grooming, narrower on the other to grab the rest of the undercoat. And it did remove a lot of the undercoat. The detangling aspect is, again, like other rakes in that it just pulls the tangled fur out. So not actual detangling as we would think of it, but rather a full removal of tangled fur. It also seems to massage the skin and release loose skin particles when I use it. My pet is visibly thinner now, and with top coat intact. Looks great. I only gave 4 stars instead on 5 due to the claim that this is gentler on pets. Not true. It is exactly the same as other rakes when pulling the undercoat out. And I got the same response from my pet- discomfort. Any time you comb and undercoat, you are essentially pulling it out and away from the top coat. So it’s not going to be comfortable. That is the case here. I’m sure if you rake them daily it goes through smoothly, but that would be the case for any pet rake. But this claims it can remove matted undercoats that have not been combed for long periods with “no discomfort”. My pet did not have a matted undercoat, but did have a couple months of undercoat growth, and was uncomfortable as I used this to remove it. My pet had the same level of discomfort as any other rake. So if they remove that claim that pets have “no discomfort” when using it, and that it goes through a tangled coat smoothly, I would have given 5 stars.

If you're looking for an undercoat rake on Amazon, there's a BIG selection and price range for them. You'll find them from ten bucks all the way up to sixty dollars or more. So i asked Gemini which one of recommends and this was it's first pick. According to Gemini this one on particular has the best reported quality and feedback from buyers. Also the price was much lower than the "top of the line" ones that function the exact same. So i decided to try it. I just received mine today and immediately had to test it out on my shepherd husky mix. Hes a big dog and has very thick fur. I gotta say at first i was skeptical and thought "how could it work with that much space between the blades?". Well after using it for 2 minutes i realized i have an awesome tool in my hands! It works SO GOOD i was honestly blown away. I wouldn't recommend using it indoors unless you want hair everywhere. I've tried the shedding blade style ones, time thin bristle ones, and everything in between, and this one is hands down the best hair removal brush I've ever used on my dog. It's easy to use, it's made well, its inexpensive, and it's the best brush I've used on my dog by far.

Thank very much for this product. I like these tools I can keep maintaining on their hair better, my German shepherd like it to. I’ll be able to keep my house cleaner. Very easy to combed their hair and accumulates plenty of their hair and easy to clean. Small tool to keep in storage and take it with you when you travel with your dogs and keep the maintenance. I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this product. This grooming rake is exceptional. Compared to my previous rake, which I've used for years, this one removes fur significantly more effectively. It reduces grooming time by approximately half and causes no hand strain afterward. I recommend this product to anyone with a shedding dog, particularly those with high-shedding breeds such as golden retrievers.

Oh my word!!! This is the BEST de-shedder ever. I have used it on my mini ponies, mini mule, donkeys (their coats are hard to brush) and my dogs. The hair just came off,in one stroke! Like a hot knive through butter. Now the whole farm has one. Great product.

This arrived quickly and oh how good. We have tried at least a dozen different brushes and coat shredders on our German Shepherds over the years, but this is by far the easiest and best grooming brush we have used and bonus our Shepherds loves it or the attention, who cares the results are super fantastic.
